Re: Trash the Dress question

I've brought about 7 dresses off ebay & 2 from an Op shop purely to do this as a project. 1 has been "trashed" but it's just dirty around the train...nothing that can't be fixed & that was the most expensive dress at a grand total of $60, it's a stunning dress too 1 I will sell aga...

Re: Surprise Wedding - Thoughts please

I shot a surprise wedding last year & it was one of the most romantic & emotional weddings I've ever done! The bride just told guests she was having a Photographer do a full engagement & wedding package & they were none the wiser, but I  the idea the periwinkle came up with! T...

Re: Op shop dress!

That looks fabulous!!!! Well done indeed :D
I buy dresses from Ebay (I have about 7 now) for no more than $30 & I alter them when I have time & then Trash them :P as a Photography project, a couple are really quite nice though & I can't bring myself to ruin them completely

Re: Ordering a dress that doesn't fit YET!

I did it & was sadly disappointed :( it cost me $450 to have the dress taken out, (even though I did lose a dress size, it just wasn't enough) which is possible in most dresses, they have about a half inch seam on the inside It affected the beading on the dress & ended up slightly lopsided S...

Re: Photos with your groom BEFORE ceremony??

There's this amazing Photographer in USA that swears by doing things this way http://www.jasminestarblog.com/index.cfm?catID=2 Apparently the BIG $ weddings over there are all done that way to spend a bit more time to set up the shots & the makeup & hair are as fresh as a daisy, personally I...

Re: Brazillian Laser

you need to shave coz they'd cook your hair with the laser & it'd hurt like buggery, so don't cancel
It can involve your butt if you want them to, they'll ask you, you just hold your bent legs in your arms & it's over quicker than you think

Re: Brazillian Laser

I go to Hair Free laser clinic & yes you do have to show your bits, it's really not as bad as you'd think...it's not awkward unless you make it awkward yourself. It doesn't hurt, it's like a tiny dull flick from an elastic band & your smothered in a cold gel, you have to have shaved the area...

Re: Have you ever fasted?

recently I have quite often for surgeries & tests. I'm kinda used to going without for 24 hours & it doesn't phase me too much. Although on Friday I wasn't attempting to fast, but I ate a Venison stew (beautiful ultra lean meat) I I couldn't even think of eating for more than 8 hours, I thin...

Re: Stomach issues....doctors can't find what is wrong :(

I can relate to this completely! I've been having stomach troubles ever since I had my Appendix out in Nov 2007, I felt better after it for about 5 months & then one day just woke up & everything turned pear shaped, I couldn't keep food down, I reacted to everything I ate, medications just d...

Sorry to hear about your Dad's decision, hopefully closer to the date he will change his tune.
I think it would be lovely if you either walked the whole aisle with your FH or he met you at the start

Re: HELP - blotchy rash when nervous / emotional

I shot a wedding of a lady who had the same problem, I ended up editing her pics to remove the redness & it was only during her ceremony by the time she was outside she had calmed down & there was no need to edit those photos

Re: Any other diabetics on here?

I'm not personally, but my entire In law family is. They seem to cope quite well with their needles in any situation, my MIL regularly jabs herself in the leg through her jeans  Do you only ever go through your tummy? if so your dress might be able to be lifted high enough to access your lower...
