Re: Four Weddings - would you?

I enjoy watching it and I can understand why being on the show would appeal to some, but after seeing an episode that featured our wedding venue, watching the other brides bag it out and then having DH walk into the room to find me screaming at the TV that they (the other three brides) did not know ...

Show us your garden

Hi ladies DH and I are just a few weeks away from moving into our new house that we have been building forever...or at least it feels like it. I am in desperate need of some inspiration for everything outside. Plants, garden edging, trees, front gardens, back yards, pebbled/paver areas...EVERYTHING!...

Re: Button holes -who should wear them?

We went with the bridal party and then our parents. Did not go to grandparents because once we got to the grandparent level it became a little problamatic (step grandparents who had been part of my life, biological grandparents who had not) so we drew the line at parents of the bride and this seemed...

Re: Photo albums / Photobooks

I agree with narileena. I used Photobooks. They have a buy one get one free deal and I found it really easy to use and the quality is really good.

Re: To bustle or not?

I am quite opinionated on the subject of the bustle after the experience I had at our wedding so sorry for the very frank opinion. I was all about having train out for the for all the big moments during our wedding. That was until we got a hail storm during our wedding and by the time we we walking ...

Looking for mustangs - brisbane

It has been ages since I posted....but it is just like coming home again :)

A friend of mine is getting married in May 2011 and they are desperate to organise mustangs for their day, but cannot find anyone with them (that does weddings anyway).

Can anyone suggest some possible contacts in Brisbane?

Anyone know about rainbow lorikeets?

Just wondering if anyone out there knows much about rainbow lorries. DH and I have a baby male rainbow lorrie (16 weeks) who is hand reared and tame. We want to get him a companion and are trying to figure out if we should be getting a male or a female. Our vet and others have said that unless we wa...

Re: easels for wedding tables

They are little stands that you use to hold cards or photos. They are like the stands that artists use, but smaller

Cannot upload a photo sorry

Re: Did your DH get teary during the ceremony?

OMG my Dh cried like a baby, our photographer got heaps of great shots of it to (one is in hall of fame). He strated crying pretty much as soon as he arrived at the venue where were getting married and did not stop until we had walked up the aisle together

Re: Photo Books - album printer, momento??

I looked at momento but thought that the price was pretty high (though I hear that the quality is incredible) We went with Photobooks Australia and were over the moon with the results. They also frequently do 2-4-1 deals on their books, we got two 65 page wedding albums, posted with slip covers for ...

Re: Pre marriage counselling

We did pre-marriage counselling and thought it was great. We were not going to do it, but it was strongly recommended by the minister who married us. The first part for us was doing a really long test (I think it was about 140 questions from memory) they were all multiple choice and designed to get ...

Well, I got my ring.

He gave it to me the day before our anniversary. It is so beautiful and I love it to pieces.

I have posted a photo of it (with me e-ring and wedding band). It is the ring at the top

We had pillar candles on mirrors down the front of the table linked with blue pebbles. The same decorations as was on our guest tables. Because we had round guest tables we have round candles and round mirrors on the guest tables and square mirrors and square candles on th elong birdal table. Then w...
