My shoes

With my wedding coming up in November, I'm starting to cut it fine for shoes. I need them by my fitting in about 4 weeks. I'm just wondering have any of you girls seen any white/ivory wedge shoes around lately? Preferably in Australia, but if I need to go elsewhere... I can try! Thanks for your help...

Ah, this is the same problem we are having... We've got one favour for one member of the family, then we are thinking of having another for the other partner, but then what do you give children/singles? In our case it's fridge magnets and a small box of chocolates. Also, who do you decide to give th...

Buying materials.

I'm looking to buy some card and whatnot online, but I'm wondering what you guys have found were the best places to deal through? I'm only looking for some square folded card and some paper I can use as inserts, but one thing I've found is some places have real issues with sending out samples, parti...

Pocketfold

I know, I'm sure its been asked a billion times, but if I want to buy a premade pocketfold, where in Australia can I get one from? I'm happy enough making one if I need to, but it turns out I'm not so good at following instructions to a tee :P I checked out 'cards and pocketfolds' i think it's calle...

Re: Return address labels

Well, I thought I was being clever by checking out my local reject shop - nothing!

I'm going to have to try printing, then if that doesn't work I'll have to head on down to look at officeworks. I like to see things in person before I buy them, strange, aren't i?

Re: Return address labels

Haha! Spot the girl who doesn't have an officeworks nearby!

I'll have to make some time to trek down there - thanks girls :D

Return address labels

hi there!

I'm looking for something to make return address labels. Ideally, it would be a clear, printable sticky paper - has anyone found anything like that? Either in shops or online? Or is it just easier to get something done via vistaprint?

Re: Ugh, second thoughts about the dress

Aw thankyou. I suppose because it is such a big decision I second guess myself. I love both dresses but a size smaller is always good I understand that everyone has a different style, so what I like may be totally different to what someone else likes (i mean how many times have you looked at someon...

Re: Ugh, second thoughts about the dress

Very true, I'm just hoping I've made the right decision. The first was so flattering - but the one I brought was 'different' but also flattering according to my mum and my future MIL. Those are the only two - aside from my dad, that I've shown the dress to. I wanted something a little different, so ...

Ugh, second thoughts about the dress

Well, I've paid for my dress, just waiting for it to come in (which will be in September) but I've been looking at pictures of the other dress I liked, and *sigh* I like that one too. I suppose I think the first one I was going to get is so flattering on my shape, but I guess I have to remember I on...

Addressing invites

Just wanted to clarify on how exactly to address the wedding invitations? Is it better to use 'Bob Citizen' and 'Jane Doe' (or alternatively if they have the same surname 'Bob and Jane Citizen')? Or 'Mr Bob Citizen'? Or 'Mr & Mrs Bob Citizen'? I mean, really I know inside is whats going to count...

Re: HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT MAKE UP TO USE????

I had a client that used Napoleon on her wedding day, she loved it! I, however, can't wear it. It just stings my face - however when it comes to a trial, I might give it a go. Im' not a huge fan of heavy makeup but we only do mineral makeup at work (and I don't fancy doing my own :P) and I'm worried...

Just a question about fixing diamontes to card

I'm trying to get my Save the Date cards organised (and it's taking too long as is, really). Anyway - what's the best glue to stick the diamontes on to the card? I almost thought about getting the 'hotfix' ones and the thing to go with it, but I don't know how good it is either. I've got a glue here...

Re: Adelaide

Isn't it funny how we all want and get different things :)

I must admit I'm in love with fresh flowers, so that's what I'll be having. At this stage it will be white orchids dyed blue along with white Oriental lillies (I suppose that's where my cost is already! :P).

Re: Since I don't post too often...

Ah, see it doesn't say that on their site though - does it? *is off to go look* :P

What was the wait like? Do you think I could order it if I don't find something else in Sydney? (which is in a couple of weeks)
