Re: What are your minimum requirements for a house?

3 bedroom on a decent block of land with a good layout. Everything else we can fix and renovate to suit us. that is the minimum requirements.
stuff like garage, heating, cooling, ensuite are all bonuses.

Re: How old is the bride?

I've noticed recently there are a lot of younger brides. I would've thought late 20's but I'm seeing early 20's and kids also in the early to mid 20's.

make up- help what do i do?

I'm getting married on Saturday at about 3.30pm, its long story but I got the make up artist a little last minute  so she now says that she'll turn up to do make up at 8.30am (7 hours before the ceremony!!!) because she has to leave at 11am or something. I'm so mad, I'm paying her for a servic...

If you can justify the cost then why not, go for it! Personally I wouldn't, rather save the money toward a louis vuitton

Bayside (melb) indoor photo locations HELP!!

I'm getting married this Saturday and the weather isn't looking to good at all. Hoping some of the melbourne girls would be able to help me with some places that I can have photos done and be covered from the rain. Getting married around Hampton / Highett ideas would be great!! Thanks.

Re: Hesitations changing surname??

I'm the same, there's a few others who feel the same thankfully! Everyone I told to doesn't really understand. I mean they understand that I don't like his surname but that's pretty much it, it's just like "you'll get used to it"

Re: Blue Singapore Orchids

I'm having them for my wedding too. Only flowers that I really like, I wasnt' even going to have flowers. This is the first I've heard about any flower staining. But maybe it's worth being careful to not hold them against your dress too much expecially if they're wet or moist or the air is. I'll be ...

Bubbles / Rose Petals

I'm thinking about post ceremony and when people used to throw confetti at the couple and it's now bubbles or rose petals, basically I'm thinking are they really needed?

Did you have either at your wedding, where they used etc etc?

Re: How much involement did your BM'S have??

My matron of honour is my sister and jnr bm my niece. My sister has had very little envolvement apart from when I've asked her about somthing. Although she did organise her and her daughters dress, without any input from me, which is what I wanted. Truth be told though my sister and I have very diff...

Re: ANOTHER Wishing Well Question

We're having ours to go towards our first house too, this is what I had:

If you were thinking of giving a gift,
to help us on our way.
A gift of cash towards our first house,
would really make our day.
However, if you prefer to purchase a gift,
feel free to surprise us in your own way.

Re: venue meltdown

That makes sense. But to be honest I think it'll go too quickly if you do it all within 5 hours. Is there a nice park or church near by that you can use for the ceremony? Then you can leave there get photos have a bit of a relax after getting the photos done, before going into the Reception. But I s...

Re: Will our photos look strange?

I don't think so. It's just photos anyway, and really they wont look silly to you becuase that is YOU and your FH. If it was a different ring it might as well be a different hand. They'll mean more to you to have them even if they do look strange than having a different ring.

Re: Is/was your gown comfortable?

Ah the things we put our body through just to look nice! My dress doesn't have a corset thankfully, but it doesn't mean it'll be comfortable. I imagine you'd be supported by the corset so you probably wouldn't even really feel it. I'm concerned about carrying around the weight of the dress ALL day!
