Re: Is this clear?

If a guest doesn't know what a treasure chest is because they haven't been to a wedding for 10+ years then I doubt they would know what a wishing well was. I would try not to worry. If I was uncertain, I would ask a friend or google it. Your guests will work it out

Re: Staving off the cold in winter wedding

I also got married in winter (granted middle of winter in Brisbane isn't that cold) but I was expecting to be cold but to just suck it up and wearing a heavy wedding dress is really quite warm, especially with adrenelin pumping. wearing hubby's jacket in between photos if need be. your reception wil...

Re: Wedding Movie with an Usher in it

i don't know of any sorry.

All they need to do is stand and hand out OOS or if you don't have an OOS, stand and say hi to people as they enter the church or walk down a path to an outdoor venue?

If they are still keen to watch what to do, maybe youtube?

Re: Table floorplans...where to start???

I have tried to group people into groups of ten. But herein lies the problem. I can't get even numbers of 10 without mixing my step families, FH family (who have problems with people who don't talk to each other) and others that don't get along! I wouldn't worry about even numbers. my tables ranged...

Re: Safe Pasta Option

I would choose a ravioli or a gnocchi - it's a bit fancier then a penne or spirals and you want a wedding to be a little bit fancy

Re: Menu's

I voted salmon and steak. my next vote would have been white fish and steak

salmon is more expensive than chicken so I would want to get my monies worth! plus, most people will eat it or swap with someone. I love salmon!

Re: income protection insurance

I can't believe I started that thread nearly 2 years ago. I'm more knowledgeable now! You can cover yourself until age 65 with a waiting period. If your super automatically includes 2 years of income protection then you could nominate a 2 year waiting period. Your premium for this wont be very much....

Can I buy seeds in bulk somewhere? I want to fill a nice bag with them, would that be a nice idea?

Maybe bunnings or a nursery might be able to help you buy bulk? You wouldn't need one for each person because even at sit down weddings not everyone takes the bonbannaire.

Re: Bomboniere Question

In all honesty I would leave the bird seed on the table. Sorry. I really like your concept but I personally don't really like birds. Although I might just throw it in the back yard. I love the seed idea for plants though. A friend did this and I planted the seeds. I would definitely take those seeds.

Re: Pre wedding botox?

I think after a few months it wears out and you therefore need a refresher. I didnt consider it for the wedding but give me ten to twenty years and I know I'll be checking myself in for a slight brow raise and trip to the Botox bar!
