Re: Sunshine Coast

Hi Steph, we had our ceremony and reception at Ebb Waterfront restaurant at Maroochydore. It's a lovely venue, overlooks the Maroochy river and not too far from the beach if you were to have your ceremony elsewhere. I highly recommend it!!

Re: anyone NOT having acrylic or gel nails ?

I didn't have them. I grew my nails and got a French manicure, however it was the dodgiest manicure ever. I spent like an hour on the morning of the wedding taking it all off and putting a subtle shimmery polish on which looked great. My advice is to have trial manicures before the wedding to make s...

Re: Parasols?

Depends what type you are after. I got mine from Put It Out There (online) for about $6 each - they weren't great quality but they did the job and looked good in the photos!

Re: Preparation timeline on the Big Day!

Hi Stefania. I think it depends on what you need to do, how many bridesmaids etc need to get their hair and makeup done, etc. Our ceremony was at 4pm, and we had our photos done before the ceremony. My timeline went like this: 9am - Hair and makeup arrive, all girls take it in turns to have hair and...

Re: Sunshine Coast Wedding...

We got married at Ebb Waterfront, it was gorgeous!! I'm not sure if it would fit 100 guests though. My sister got married at Tranquil Park and it was sooo lovely. Fantastic view!! Good luck with your planning (and the bub!!)

Re: Jaw clenching

Mrsctobe, I suffer the same issues in regards to the jaw pain. Last year a doctor diagnosed me with TMJ and gave me some anti-inflammatories which helped (though not straight away). Right now though, the problem has returned and I can't open mouth fully because of the pain on the right side of my fa...

Re: Jaw clenching

Chelle, I do this too - it's usually only when I'm stressed out. I investigated the mouth guard option too but it was too pricey. I don't know any way to take care of it other than just lowering my stress levels, so I'm interested to check out the replies on here too!

Re: Beauty question

I used to do the old Clean & Clear 3 step when I was in high school but since then I haven't really used a toner. I've tried a whole bunch of different scrubs and cleansers and moisturizers - usually I'll find something that works for me and it gets discontinued :( At the moment I use Nivea make...

Re: Relocating - who has done it?

Our move is happening next week! I'm in the process of doing all the practical stuff, like cancelling our phone/internet, and arranging a storage unit to use until we get our own place. Things haven't fallen into place how we would have liked (neither of us have jobs lined up in NSW yet, so we can't...

Re: New signature for your married name?

I spent several hours at work practicing my new signature - by the time I came up with it, I pretty much instantly forgot again. I had to sign new licence and bank card a few days later and was lucky that I didn't screw up my new signature completely! It's nothing fancy but it does the job :D

Re: Post wedding depression

I didn't get any post wedding depression - just a bit of boredom, really! When you spend so much time planning something, once it's over you're left wondering what to do with all the spare time you find yourself with! It's hard, and everyone handles it differently. It's great that we do have people ...

Re: Who bought the first dress you tried on?

I bought mine before I even tried it on (I got it off Ebay)! Very lucky that it was 'the one'! I don't think there's anything wrong with buying the first one you try on! If you know, you know :)

i think they match your dress really well (gorgeous dress btw!!) If you don't go with those ones, i would definitely recommend Diva aswell - I got mine from there plus a couple of different pairs in case my BMs wanted to wear them, their range changes all the time aswell so if they dont have anythin...
