Can I leave?

I'm planning on getting legal advice regarding this but it's stressing me out so I thought I'd get some thoughts here first, hopefully someone knows more about this situation than I do. Last week I moved into a house with the owner/landlord. It's just the two of us living here. I pay $650 a month re...

Re: Good luck to this weeks Brides!!

Aww, thanks for thinking of me Emy! I had one of the best days ever yesterday; I doubt any wedding I ever planned would have topped it. And the best thing was I woke up this morning without an annoying husband next to me!

I really hope you don't hate me for saying so, but you have spelled "accommodation" incorrectly.

I'd recommend Heather Sellick as well. She did alterations to my bridesmaid dress last year and was brilliant. Well priced too.

Brett Lee
Shane Crawford
Tom Harley
Rob Thomas
Martin Sacks (not currently though because he's 50 - but back in the early days of Blue Heelers)

Is it bad that the majority of mine are sportsmen and probably not all that famous

Re: Anyone who has been on a P&O Cruise

I just got back from a south pacific cruise with P&O last month and it was AMAZING! I didn't spend much at all, mainly because I'm not a huge drinker, but drinks on the ship are quite reasonably priced. The internet on board is really expensive, and a few people I got chatting to blew hundreds i...

Re: Melbourne Photographers

I've heard mixed things... after booking her I heard from several people that she was rude and bossy, made me very hesitant and I ended up meeting with a few other photographers but stuck with her in the end. Was *so* close to changing over to Kane Jarrod who did my best friend's wedding and was BRI...

I reckon if you feel you have to give your photographer a list such as this then maybe you should not be using them for your special day.

I have to agree with this. Good photographers will know what to do, IMHO.

Typical home loan criteria

When you applied for your home loan, what sort of criteria did you have to meet?

Did they require previous employer as well as past employer?
Dependents?
Past addresses?

Etc?

Roselyn Court is amazing - we would have considered it for our wedding if we hadn't found Potters.

My FH is from Mildura too - they probably know each other

Re: bridesmaids war....

Do NOT have someone as a bridesmaid just because you're worried they'll be upset that you didn't ask them. I have made this mistake and am seriously starting to regret asking one of my bridesmaids.

Re: Engagement Cake Recs Northern Suburbs Melbourne

Yep, my best friend got her engagement cake from Eiffel Tower and it tasted like cardboard. It was also dry as anything - most people didn't even finish their slice.

Re: Non-floral, Non-candle centerpieces

Some people have had chocolate bouquet things for their centrepieces.

I don't like goldfish as a centrepiece option at all - people get smashed and torture the poor things.

How about coloured sand in a vase or something? Could look awesome if you blend colours together.
