Re: Four Weddings - would you?

i love the show and would love showing everyone the effort i put into the wedding however i do not think i could handle the judging strangers there IYKWIM. The show deliberate picks people whose ideas are so different so they can have the dramatics for the show. I think i would be utterly cut if i w...

Re: Help! Sewing experts: how to attach beaded strap?

would go the hook and eye option as well. Hook and eye is lot more sturdy then the snap studs so you will not have an unfortunate strapping popping open at the
wrong moment. Also hook and eye are so much easier to attach then snap studs.

agreeded. i sent individual invites to all the adults on one side of the family even thou it meant 5 seperate invites all going to the same place as none of the adult kids had moved out of home yet.

Re: Problem with inviting kids.

We didn't state anywhere that it was child free, but on our interstate invites they received ones that included the childrens names, whilst the only local couple that had a child, we did not put their child's name on the invite. They have never asked why or asked to bring their daughter, and if aft...

Re: What has annoyed you about other peoples weddings?

hehehehe these are kinda funny. Found myself laughing at quite a few of these comments  In regards to thank-yous each to their own but I see the bonbonniere as a thank-you for coming, not thanks for everything. I remember when i had bday parties as a kid I used to have to say thank you for the...

Re: What has annoyed you about other peoples weddings?

been to 9 weddings in the last year and only ever recieved 3 thank-yous - did not annoy me that much as the ones that did not send the cards all had lovely favours with than-yous on them. One wedding did annoy me, we were a very last minute invite (3 weeks before the date) and when we got to the rec...

Re: Help with my new puppy

your right - he is missing his brothers and sisters and wants to be comforted. A way to try and settle him is to get an old sweater/jumper of yours (as he associates your scent as comfort) and line his sleep basket with it. Also place a warm hot water bottle under it so it simulates as if another bo...

Re: Needing ideas on how to change wedding reception venue

as the others said - book the other venue first to make sure you have that in place and then tell the other reception venuw that you need to cancel. You can cite any reason - if its a small venue say you out grown it with guest numbers or can say the in-laws are adamant the wedding has to be in town ...
