Wear appropriate underwear....it's likely that the sales assistant will get a good eyeful as she does up the dress. I've had two black cars, and didn't notice any issues with safety......but then I always drove with the lights on.

For me the biggest issue is keeping them clean. Even when polishing them, you have to be really careful to do a good job or they look totally awful in the sunlight.

I don't think it matters what type of finish you have on the straighteners, it's the heat that damages your hair. Bear in mind that I'm not an expert!

I had no problems, we flew with Qantas and hung my dress in one of the wardrobes. It pays to call the airline before you go though.
