Re: What materials can't be steamed (dress)

Why don't you just ring a local Bridal shop and ask them what they charge to steam your gown.
Water spitting from a cheap steamer on to your fabric could be a problem
Good luck

Re: Ceremony guests only

I think that's a great idea!
If you wanted you could do a pretend Cake Cutting/Photo and serve a spare slab of cake to your Ceremony guests

Re: Eyelash extensions

I had eyelash extentions done last week, LOVE them! Took about an hour, cost $95, refills every 3 weeks $40-$50 Fantastic for when you go on holiday and don't want to put make up on -Bathers, hair tie, lip gloss, done  Get them done 3-4 days before your wedding as it takes a little time to get...

Re: pearls???

Silver shoes with Navy looks fantastic, just try to stick to a mat silver, not that bright silver.
If you have pearls in your gown go for pearls, it may not be popular these days but it is classic; won't ever date :)

Re: Flattening your dress?

You could try having the Tulle under skirts, cut out, fairly simple just pull hard and chop each layer along the top until you are happy :D

Re: Am I being a Bridezilla about my FH's daughter?

Maybe we are being a little tough on her? She has no children of her own so can NOT understand the unconditional love that comes with that. Clearly she does not know how to quite articulate her feeling or she would never be writing such bridezilla comments. Maybe she is just young and won,t understa...

Re: Am I being a Bridezilla about my FH's daughter?

Let me get this straight..........You don''t want her because she is too big compared to you and your BMs therefore may not look good in the photos?? She has teenage attitude??? or was it shy and not girlie enough for either role??? You may need to remember what getting married is all about-not the ...

Re: Help - Which veil?

I think you should take your gown in to a shop and try it on with veils, though if you do this you should buy from the shop.
I think 2 Tiers, long, maybe some lace in the comb but the rest of the veil lace free and simple.

Re: Which dress is more flattering

The second one could be a concern because the gown dips on the side of the bust therefore the girls bust could flow over that area.
If you pull the gown up higher to compensate the problem they could end up looking swamped in the gowns
Not trying to be a kill you, really :)

Re: Which dress is more flattering

I don't like satin though I do like the shape of these gowns on the girls. The pink gown is beautiful though not going to be good for larger girls as it sits on the natural waist with a small band; If the band was thicker it would then give them a pronounced waist, more shape Have a look at Allure 1...

You should be able to just slip your foot out and the bottom of the gown should skim the top of the shoe.
