Re: Show us your pets!!

I just love these threads!! We have few few pets, chickens, rabbit, fish but the center of everything is our dog Merlot!! He has only just turned 5, we got him when he was 8 weeks old. I had been begging Dh (fh at the time) for as long as i could remember, anyhow almost 5 years on living with us we ...

Re: Dramas printing on Vellum paper

You might find that it is the printer, laser is better however you can't print lots at once or the printer can melt the vellum, so a few at a time will be fine. If you only have the use of an inkjet printer make sure that it is set to the highest possible resolution, make sure your cartriges are ful...

Re: How did you select your wedding gown? HELP!

I had always wanted a black and white dress, pretty much ever since I thought about what I would wear when I got married. So basically it was a matter of finding the dress that I loved, when I found it I could nto stop looking at it, when I saw it, I just knew.

Re: Personal wedding websites?

I used wedding announcer for ours, it's a few years ago now, easy to use and some wonderful layouts. You could also use Wordpress, wordpress is compatabile with a number of things like Facebook so if I could turn back time I would have used Wordpress http://billyanddee.weddingannouncer.com/ (wedding...

Re: 2 Photographers at Wedding HELP!

I agree with Coco, plus I believe that you answered the question yourself when you said you had only seen a photographer with an assistant. Photographers love to get the most out of photos and will do their best to give you this. If you have two photographers they are at the mercy of one another. So...

Re: Doc Martens (NWR)

I was originally going to wear white Doc's for our wedding. I wonder if you took them to a cobbler if they could stretch them for you?

Re: DRESS DOESN'T FIT ANYMORE

How much does it not fit by? Looking at your ticker you have 9 months but with not knowing what shape you are in it's difficult to gauge if loosing a few kgs is what is needed or seeing a dressmaker. Either way it sounds like it is sortable. I tend to get a bit puffy on warm days so this could be a ...

Re: Invite wording and not causing offence!

I disagree. Invites these days tend to be like this: Mr and Mrs Bride's Parents together with Mr and Mrs Groom's parents invite you etc... OR (and more usual these days IMO) Brides name and groom's name together with their parents (names optional) Invite you etc... And personally I think it's ludic...

I am not sure that a cemetary is a good place for photos. Where about's are you getting married? Perhaps we can all help you brainstorm for other places?? Also what is your theme?

Re: Suit shopping Melbourne, any recs?

We used Peter Jackson too, they were fantastic, prices were also fantastic!!! They have regular sales and you can really grab yourself a bargain. If your FH is still not happy perhaps you could get his suit tailor made? A friend DH has his made and it was just fantastic

Personally, I am not a fan but really your wedding should be about you and your partner, it should be a reflection of who you are. If this is you then go for it!! Its your day!!

Re: Buying dress online?

Agreed!! There is a number of dresses on eBay and online that are replicas, sometimes there is a big difference from the real dress and the replica and sometimes this results in a lot of heartache. In saying there are a lot of WC brides that have bought replica dresses and been very happy. Miss_Lee'...
