Re: Sunshine Coast

Just thought I'd quickly pop in, that link was our photographer. I can't rave highly enough about Alan! I know he's been redoing his website/blog so could be why there were problems. It was 18 months ago we got married (booked him 2yrs ago) and it was $1300 then. I think he had a cheaper package but...

Re: Where did you purchase your canvas prints?

I bought mine from photobox.com.au (they had a special through groupon) and they turned out wonderfully. It was only $38 for the two incl postage so I figured it was no great loss if they turned out crap. I am intending on buying a bigger on through momento.com.au. My cousin's hubby is a photographe...

Re: Sunshine Coast

May will probably be a big nippy (guests might need a shawl/cardi), June will be a bit cold. I lived there for a couple years and come winter, we brought out doonas and eletric blankets and had reverse heating on. It was never freezing, freezing but you wouldn't go out in less then jeans and a jumpe...

Re: I called off our wedding today - HEALTH UPDATE P.13

Big hugs lovely!
I'm going through similar menopausal crap so if you need someone to talk my inbox is always open. It really isn't fair for anyone to go through so I'm keeping everything crossed that they can freeze some eggs.

Re: Post wedding day nightmare!

I've had one last week and it's 7 months on for me! I think it's just cause there's such a build up and you have all the nightmares leading up to it that it takes a while for your brain to realize it's over.

Re: How much do wedding albums cost??

Our photographer was $1200 for the lower end so was a bit out of our budget, my BMs husband is a photographer though so allowed me to use his Momento Pro account. I haven't ordered it yet as I'm playing around with designs but he showed me his albums and they looked gorgeous, they're all he uses for...

Re: How Long to Plan A Wedding?

We had 5 months for ours but I was really sick and unsure if it would get worse and I'd be well enough to walk down the aisle. Honestly, I would have liked even just another month or two but it's more then possible. I still procrastinated a lot through that 5 months and part of me thinks if I had mo...

All I can say is big hugs. Life really isn't fair sometimes so I'll be keeping everything crossed for good news. And you know we're all here if you need to talk.

Re: Chatting with guests

Ours was all over the place, we had time between each course (cause the caterers needed 5min to clear and bring the next lot out) so we got round to each table between courses. Our problem wasn't getting around to people but actually being at the bridal table when the meals where there :p

Re: August Weight Loss Thread

4 hours a day! I feel like dying after an hours exercise! That's insane. Still no scales but I'm feeling pretty good. Been exercising almost every day, missed Saturday as I felt like hell but I've been doing min 10km on the bike, 20 most days. I'm finding I'm eating healthier with DH away, last nigh...

Re: August Weight Loss Thread

Our scales were lost in the move! I've searched high and low but no luck so I have no idea what I weigh. I've redone my measurements though and I've lost .5" around my thighs and hips! I've actually been really sick the past two days, haven't been able to keep anything down so just been living ...

I was recommended to Atkins too.

And as for 7 weeks, tell hubby it's been just under 5 months and we still don't have a single photo printed.

Re: August Weight Loss Thread

I'm the same! I love my body down to about my waist but below that, all the fat goes straight there! I haven't tried it but mu Chinese herbalist suggested citrus augmentin, apparently it dissolves all the Brown fat which is usually what's around your tummy and thighs, still don't know whether to giv...

Re: Figuring out marquee size

I hit up my cousin, she's a wedding planner so figured she might have an idea. This is the formula she uses so hopefully it helps Dance Floor: Up to 100 people - 150sq ft 100-150 people - 400sq ft Cocktail - 8sq ft per person Seated - 10-12sq ft per person Extras Hospitality Unit, Bar & Dining 1...

Re: 2 tier detatchable chapel veil - which part detaches?

I've only seen them with the blusher as the detachable part so not sure if that's how they all are. The one I was looking at, it was two clips that clicked in together and just unclicked when you wanted to remove the blusher

Re: August Weight Loss Thread

From what I can gather rhe paleo diet is going back to hunter gatherer instincts so no grains, no dairy, nothing processed. Just fresh fruit, veg and meat, it's high in protein but still had carbs, just wasn't sure how it would work being vege or if it even worked.

I know its late but happy birthday Hollie! Beef jerky is pretty bad, my brother loves it so I get it as a birthday treat for him and I looked at the ingredients, salt is before the meat!! I'm lactose intolerant too, I found Woolworths sells liddels yoghurt which is dairy free and yummy too. Otherwis...

They're gorgeous, you've done a great job! I attempted smaller versions for our pew decorations Abe was pulling my hair out so I take my hat off to you. Wad it fiddly or did you find the size helped?
