Re: Sunshine Coast

Hi Ladies,

Just looking for some recommendations for venues in the hinterland please. My best friend just got engaged and she's trying to find a nice country/rustic/elegant place that's not too pricey! Thanks.

Re: Rockhampton - Part 3

Hi ladies, My best friend just got engaged (yaaaay!!) and I am helping her organise things. Rocky is an option for them to get married at and I was wondering if anyone knows of any great country/rustic/rural settings for a reception? She wants to get married in a church, but would like the whole fee...

Re: Children at Weddings

I think, if you want them there invite them, if not, then don't. We invited our nieces & nephews to our wedding (20 all together), but no other children. I didn't have anyone complain that their child wasn't invited. I did have one person who couldn't come because she couldn't get a babysitter, ...

Re: What to wear to a Black Tie wedding

I think something a little more fitted than the second, similiar to the fitting of the first dress. But without the length of the first dress, something the skims the floor but doesn't have a train. Thanks Agape, if I got the first one I was going to get it without the flowers & without the tra...

Re: What to wear to a Black Tie wedding

Thanks ladies, I did think that the first one was too much, but wasn't sure. I might see if I can find something in between the two that I like. I'll def go for something floorlength, just maybe not something red carpet worthy! I think if I was going to a black tie ball or something like that ...

What to wear to a Black Tie wedding

Hi Ladies, I have a black tie wedding coming up and I'm really unsure what to wear! It seems black tie has been toned down these days and a lot of people are wearing cocktail length dresses. To me black tie means very formal... full length, gorgeous gown. But I don't know! I don't want to turn up an...

THANK YOU PARASOL

Hi Ladies, I am selling my "Thank You" Parasol that I used once for our wedding photos. I made this myself & it was a great prop for our photos - we made our thank you cards with them. Selling for $30 plus postage. I also have a plain parasol (I bought 2 in case I stuffed up the first ...

Re: Toowoomba & Darling Downs - Part 3

Hi Catty, I'm so I don't know the details, but I can tell you that when I was at Brindabella (out at Highfields) they had business cards out there for a horse & carriage. Maybe give them a call and they can give you the details, or go out & see them. They would probably have their cards in t...

Re: My bestie is planning a surprise wedding

How exciting!!! I would have loved to do a surprise wedding! But FH wasn't keen. How about this dress? It's not quite the same, but a simar shape & it's on sale & they only have size 12 left! http://www.swishclothing.com.au/evening-dresses/langhem-gisele-one-shoulder-full-length-evening-dres...

Re: bridalgown.net

I don't think it necessarily means you will have to pay anything, I think it just takes some times for customs to sort through everything. I think you should be fine, if it's $999 (dependig on what that is in AUS$ I guess), but I'm pretty sure it only goes on the value of the goods, not the postage....

Re: December 2012

I just use Elders Weather .... http://www.eldersweather.com.au/ Go to where it says 'Local Weather' and put in the post code, select the town/suburb. Then there's a big table that has the forecast for the week at the bottom of that table to the right it should say 'area' 28 day rainfall forecast, cl...
