Re: Hands off, I am married! *vent*

thanks guys, after reading first few replies, i went straight to hubby and told him what happened. He questioned me "are you sure?? he has a wife".. at first he thought i was overacting. I think that was only because he really wanted the details of what happened and what he did. In the end...

Hands off, I am married! *vent*

My title says it all... Extremely frustrated.. Recently went out alone with a friend (who has a wife) without my husband and his wife for a drink and dinner.. By the end of the night my friend got extremely touchy to a point where I felt extremely uncomfortable. Hands were a bit everywhere. The whol...

Bought online my two wedding dresses for approx 300 each. I fell in love with another dress.
And I bought a reception dress for 750 at a shop...

All up is about 1400 including alterations.

Re: Who is there the morning of (when you get ready)

In the morning I have my bridal party, entire family including inlaws with me in the morning... including also MUA and photographer... I would say 40 plus people in the morning... that is already half my reception guest list.... I have a traditional ceremony to do in the morning, which has to be don...

Re: My fiance does not want a wedding now

I went thru similar thing when FH threatened to cancel the wedding and just have a simple registry. ITs not what I wanted for sure. We had a Long talk and many arguments about it. IT turns out he doesn't want to see me stressed and sad over planning... I kept worrying whether it suited our budget. I...

Re: Asking guests to contribute of meal cost.

SOrry I personally would be quite annoyed if I am to pay full or part of the meal... there are plenty of restaurants who can provide their place for a much cheaper rate...90 bucks sounds like you have opted a proper wedding function room... Perhaps a backyard roast? REstaurants in suburbs? RSL? Didn...

Bubble Machine @ Garden Ceremony

I bought a bubble machines for us to use in first dance at the reception venue.. I did a trial at home (on tiles) and OMG! it was very slippery! I have now considered too dangerous to use indoors (a few of my friends are 4 months preggies) and instead I decided to use outdoors in the garden ceremony...

Re: Engagement shoot photos....what did you think?

Peter, it was a lesson i learnt from her.. engagement shoots are probably a sensible thing to do before ur wedding... you're right about people nowadays buying expensive equipment and calling themselves a photographer..its also about experience too...

Re: Engagement shoot photos....what did you think?

One of my gf had her shoot done and the couple wasn't happy with the photos... felt really upset when a lot of photos kept missing the groom's head. Spoke to photographer about their concern but photographer claims it was in his artistic view. Had a look at the photos myself and they weren't artisti...
