I kind of booked the major stuff early on and just left it all. Everything is now done from my end.. however the FH has been busy at work and probably a little slack too so the suits haven't even been looked at, invit...

Re: Programs for ceremony?

Hi Sandy, it's up to you whether you have them or not, I have been to church weddings where there are no programs. As the other girls mentioned it is good for ppl to follow the ceremony, esp those of other religions. I just finished getting ours printed today, once you meet with your minister they ...

Programs for ceremony?

Hi All,

Trying to look for all the stationery now and was wondering... do you have to have programs for everyone if you are having the ceremony in a church?

Re: March 2013

I have booked most of the major things - ceremony, reception, photographer, videographer, DJ/MC. Now have to look for dress, BM dress, make up & hair. :D FH will organise his suits and stuff for the boys so I am not going to worry too much about that. One of my colleague and also one of his make...

Re: Is 7pm too late for us to be getting to the reception?

Our timing is pretty similar, we will have pre dinner canape & drinks at 6.30 for the guests then we will arrive and start the reception at 7pm. Like the others mentioned I guess it depends on the distance between ceremony and reception, are there things for the guests to do in between or places...

Re: Wedding Organiser Spreadsheet

What a good tool. I have actually done up my own Spreadsheet which I am happy to send to other people. It is a good venue/vendor comparison tool. It has a lot more detail and good for seeing clearly what is included in what package. I usually contact my preferred vendor and say to them 'I really li...

Re: May weight loss thread

I am feeling so  I had a dress tailor made last year this time for my friend's wedding. I am going to another wedding tomorrow and thought I could wear the same dress. But devastatingly, I can only barely squeeze into it and can't even sit down if I tried. It is SO depressing. The weird thing i...

Re: The Ex :I

I'm a firm believer that while their should be trust in a relationship, your boyfriend/husband shouldn't be putting you in a position where you need trust that he's doing the right thing and you're obviously very uncomfortable with that situation (With good reason!) I agree with that too! I think t...

Re: May weight loss thread

My wedding is not till next year, but will be going to a friend's wedding this weekend so I wanted to just do a small diet for the weekend. Have done the dukan diet last year but stopped when Christmas came around, it was too hard to resist all the food!! It worked well for me though as I am n...

Re: The Ex :I

I completely agree with the others... if they were/are such good friends, wouldn't he want you to meet her also? It just sounds so suss to me. Also the e-mail not mentioning you at all and trying to organise catch up so they can gush over the past is just total crap to me. I would not appreciate it ...

Re: Adding banner to end of post?

In the top left corner of the board you will see a link to 'User Control Panel', click on that, then you will get a bunch of tabs open up, click on the 'Profile' button. Under there you will find 'Edit Signature' down the left hand side. In the text box you can add your signature, ie., a countdown ...

Re: Ceremony in Melbourne CBD

The Dome, Melbourne Town Hall, The Registry Office. HA HA! Yes, dome is awesome. Dark as hell but actually a really nice setting, plenty of space, huge hall to walk down, superb photo opps as soon as you are done. I was suggest The Dome by a friend as well, but it looks HUGE and we are only having ...

Re: Ceremony in Melbourne CBD

:( I contacted the Holy Trinity Church around the corner with the stone building in the picture, but they advised that they do not accept non-members to hold their weddings there anymore. So I will now be checking St Andrews Gardiner Uniting Church, but also thinking about Potter's Cottage in ...
