Re: July Weight Loss Thread

FH and I are looking at doing Body Trim this month so we will see how that goes. I desperately need to start losing the weight before I go dress shopping.

Moving from Sydney to Perth/Mandurah area

Well. It looks like FH and I might be moving to the Perth/Mandurah area in the next few months (if not sooner 8O ). Its a huge move, and we are lucky that as its due to work FH's employer will pay for the relocation costs. I'm yet to find out exactly what it does and doesn't cost. But its better tha...

Re: The Hangover Part 4

I've got FH that he needs to make sure his bucks night is atleast 2 weeks before the wedding, because I know it will be a wild crazy night and I don't want him hung over/drunk on our wedding day (not that he drinks anymore but his bucks night may be an exception).

Re: 2014 Brides

I've still got over a year to go :( I know the time will fly but it just feels like nothing is happening.

I paid the deposit on our photographer this week, and I need to lock in the ceremony next week for our new date.

I love mint chocolate - I hope we can get flavours like that. It's your cake you don't need to stick to traditional.

Re: Planning my Vic wedding from Canada!

Welcome to WC and Congratulations on your engagement. I can't help with any Vic suppliers as I'm Sydney based but there is quite a few girls here who can recommend people in the areas that you need.

When is your wedding?

We have budgeted for about 18k plus honey moon (but the honeymoon will be delayed) and we really cant afford to go over that.

Re: Off to see a new doctor...

I have never been through something like that personally, but it sounds like the right thing and may be the thing you need to get so you can move on and enjoy your wedding and married life. I know it seems like a scary prospect but your doctor wouldn't have recommended it otherwise. Keep us updated ...

I agree with this whole heartedly - and this goes for all your wedding decisions. Once you have made up your mind about something don't keep looking or researching anymore!

Re: May Weight Loss Thread

I'm considering taking my Implanon out - the more research I do on it the more I've found about girls who have put large amounts of weight on and then found it very difficult to lose the weight. Whilst I'm not blaming the implanon for my excessive weight gain (about 25 kg in 12 months) I don't think...

Re: Jewellery

I can't answer number 2 because I haven't even brought my dress yet, but I know that a lot/some brides choose not to wear a necklace as their bodice on their dress is typically beaded/ has high level of details and they don't want to detract from that.

I agree your sister looks gorgeous in the dress - the original photo you put up doesn't really show it justice! In saying that I agree wth Agape - I think the train is a little too much?

I prefer the Henry Roth dress, but I think how the dress looks on your BM's is definitely a considering factor.
