Re: Walking down the aisle alone

I'm not walking down the aisle with anyone either. There was recently a suggestion that FH might walk down the back of the church and walk up with me, but we are not sure abut that yet. I grew up without a father and my mother has passed, it doesnt feel right to 'substitute' someone there to walk wi...

MC choice?

Hi all, We are currently trying to think of who to ask to be MC. We have extremely small families, so not uncles or aunts to ask, and the only sibling is my sister who is MOH. We also only have my FH's parents as the parentals, none on my side. Do you ask someone who knows you both well, but not rea...

Olay Bridal Onlin Store

Hi all,

Has anyone had any experience with ordering a wedding dress from Olay Bridal?

I am new to this Onlin shopping thing and not sure if I should get my dress this way, but they have one that I absolutely love and think it might be worth the risk...

Re: Hair dresser at salon or hair 'stylist' at home

Thank you for your replies Ladies! Much appreciated.

I think I will have to get over my hair dresser guilt and just get people to come to the house :)

Hair dresser at salon or hair 'stylist' at home

Hi ladies, I am trying to choose between going to my regular hairdresser for my hair or a hair stylist who comes to your house. For those in Bisbane, I'm choosing between the Powder Room and Oscar Oscar in Brisbane city. Myself and BMs amd FMIL (5 in total) would all get done at once at the hair sal...

Re: April 2013

Hi All,

We got engaged at Easter and are getting married on the 19th of April (also because the venue was booked on the weekend).

We are currently trying to find a photographer in the Brisbane, it's really hard!

Next is the dress.... No idea where to start!

Happy wedding planning everyone!!

Re: Brisbane - Part 4

Thank you :)

We ended up going with something without a river view, but with a bit of a city view, and have decided on the State Library.

Now I am dress searching and not enjoying it at all. Its so hard to find something that suits, and that i feel comfortable in... the search might take awhile!!

Re: Brisbane - Part 4

Hi ladies! I am very new to this, we got engaged over Easter and have just started the venue search. We had a look at a couple of the past few days and can not find anything that suits us, within our price range and our numbers. We want a simple but elegent venue, nice view of either the city, garde...
