How soon did you order your bridesmaid dresses??

Ok, this is partly a vent  I had my first bridezilla moment this afternoon.... Firstly my wedding is not for a year. Please keep this in mind as you read on. I am an organised person. I have done a lot since getting engaged in August. My colours are charcoal and melon/coral/salmon. There are s...

Re: September Weight Loss Thread

Oh ans I went dress shopping yesterday and found "the one" soooo excited! It is a corset lace up, and whilst it holds my boobs in, it also pushes up a lot of back fat. I don't need much more motivation than that! Bwahahahahaha! I love your style and know EXACTLY what you are saying! You w...

Re: September Weight Loss Thread

Thanks for your support guys. I agree with you stormageddon about them not appreciating curves. I mean I have size F boobs! So definitely not a bag of bones :)

Congrats on your loss by the way. I hope I'm 71 next week!

Re: September Weight Loss Thread

Thanks stormageddon! But I swear I set myself up for failure every time. I was doing well until I went to the surgeon yesterday about my knee. After telling me he would do surgery to fix it last visit, he now tells me that the 'die has been cast', and that at the age of 23 I should never walk more t...

Re: September Weight Loss Thread

Yay for all the losses this week ladies! I am going to add to the trend. I lost 500gm. :D Down to 72.0. Even though my journey has been slow with plenty of stops and starts, I am still 8.2kg lighter than I was this time last year. I would like to be around 70 by the end of September. My bestie is co...

Re: September Weight Loss Thread

Weekly check-in 2/9/12 - 9/9/12 Ok after staying under my calories all week and doing 3 exercise sessions through the week (1 hour cardio and either a spin/step/boxing class) i was fairly happy to go weigh in. I LOST NOTHING :( The only thing i can attribute this weight to is drinking 8 glasses of ...

Re: Help with the wording of gift and card signs

I too struggle with the idea of having a designated gifts table. I talked to about it with my bridesmaids, and they told me that people are going to want to give you a gift, and if I do not have a designated spot it will be disorganised and people will be personally handing you them all night. I thi...

Re: August Weight Loss Thread

Welcome Amy! Your stats are very similar to mine. Good luck on your weight loss journey. A lot of us girls are very lucky. I can not think of any more motivation to lose weight than my wedding! And the fact that I do not want to waste the money I have spent on the photographer by hating the photos a...

Re: August Weight Loss Thread

Hey ladies! So get what you mean about the uni eating thing. Every time I lose weight I always fall off the wagon when FH comes home from work (he works away). He is a cooking enthusiast, but am so proud of myself for saying no to his pork belly roast 2 days ago! I fell off the wagon yesterday howev...

Re: August Weight Loss Thread

Adrienne I have tried a gazzilliom diets and I find the best one that works for me is to simply stick to 1200cals a day. I find that different diets work for different people. My sister has lost 20kg on low gi, whilst my step mum has lost10kg simply by cutting out sugar. I know that there is no way ...

Wow thanks for that link Miss Anne. I really don't have any excuses now. Summer Beach Body HERE WE COME!!! @Monsoon Princess I lost 11kgs previously, and the only one who noticed was my step-mum :-/ But in the end you can go clothes shopping and not walk out frustrated and in tears, so that is a win...

Re: August Weight Loss Thread

Hi everyone! Went to the GP for my knee yesterday. 4 min and $60 later I have a referral to an orthopedic surgeon. (I hate it when they do that. We both knew that all he was going to give me was a referral, so why not save me $60 and just post it out) I'm excited for the surgery though, as it's stil...

Re: Epilators?

I wax regularly and the pain is nothing compared to an epilator. Bought one that was marketed as 'painless' but my god was that misleading marketing. In my opinion, go find a cheap waxer.

Re: August Weight Loss Thread

Thanks for the welcome guys! Cheers on the encouragement darkphoenix. Weight loss is my primary concern, but I would like to tone up a little as well. I think I will just do weights/push ups on the coffee table and see how far that gets me. Though hopefully FH won't be home. He will just bag me out ...
