Brand New Alan Pinkus Shoes For Sale :)

Hi Girls! I have a beautiful pair of ivory Alan Pinkus shoes for sale - they are brand new and the only reason I am selling them is that I bought them online and when they were delivered and I tried them on I realised they make me slightly taller than my fiance, so I've bought a pair with a smaller ...

Re: Somebody stop me!

Thanks for all the advice girls :D I've been trying to wash it less, which is kind of gross but I think it might be starting to make a little difference already. Also going to make time to get a good trim at some point during the week to make it feel a bit nicer...but definitely going to book in for...

Somebody stop me!

Hi Girls, I've been growing my hair for a couple of years now...not particularly for my wedding (we only got engaged last year), but just because I thought I wanted long hair. So its quite long now (about 10cm below my my bra strap at the back) and I literally can't stand it! The longer I grow it th...

Re: Shoe Dyeing in Sydney??

Try deseo shoes on Oxford street Paddington, they do have a dyeing service there. Thanks Wombatta! I did come across them in a google search but I think they only dye shoes bought from them  I will definitely check them out though if I can't find anywhere to get the other ones dyed, they have ...

Re: The Beautiful Company online for rings?

I haven't heard of that company, but I would definitely go for it! MrA and I recently bought my wedding band online from a jeweller on etsy and its absolutely perfect. It was custom made to match my e-ring. We paid about $720 including postage with insurance, it has double the ct. weight of diamonds...

Shoe Dyeing in Sydney??

Wondering if anyone has any clues on where I could get a pair of silk shoes dyed? I have my heart set on wearing purple shoes on my wedding day but I've looked around and haven't really seen anything the colour/style/heel height I'm after. I have however fallen in love with an ivory pair from Alan P...

Re: Good hair treatments, conditioners etc?

I've tried lots and the best one I've tried by far is by a brand called Joico (its available from price attack or hairhouse warehouse) - its called k pak deep penetrating conditioning treatment.
I use it about once a week (more in summer) and it always makes my hair feel great - smells delish too! :D

Thanks L.I.W! I ended up figuring it out last night and found a couple that I absolutely fell in love with, and at a fraction of the price of the Johanna Johnson ones of course!

Re: How long for hair and makeup?

thanks coco, but I'm not sure who I'm using yet which is why wanted to try to get an idea of how long others are allowing... For my upstyle and make up I think it's about 1.75 to 2 hours. Usually an hour for hair and 45 minutes for makeup is what my hair and makeup artist allows so times that by how...

How long for hair and makeup?

As the title suggests, how long is everyone allowing for hair and makeup before the wedding? I will need time for myself and three bridesmaids, along with my mother and future MIL. I'm trying to figure out how early I will need my photographer to arrive to get photos of us getting ready, so any insi...

8 months and 1 week to go! 2 months until my dress comes in. Been talking to a few different cake makers and they are all so expensive for cupcakes. I am considering making my own but not sure if I will have the time nor the motivation to do it. Might just have to bite the bullet and fork out the c...
