Re: offending sister with a bridesmaid....

Family come first. There is no way I would want my sister to feel at all upset on my wedding day.
As your friend already suggested it, she may feel the same.
Good luck!

Re: Marry under 25? Have a 4 times increased risk of divorce

I know this thread is old, but thought I'd add it-if I married the guy I was with at 24 (With him from 22-24) we would soooo be divorced by now. I was told the other day he is still single (he is now 42, I'm 30) & his last gf dumped him because he is too difficult &...a bit of an ***. What I...

Hello, Thought I would come back on here before I bid Wedding Central goodbye. I married 3 weeks ago at Sea Temple Port Douglas. We had a 30 people, destination wedding. We had Elise as our wedding planner at Sea Temple-she was amazing! The venue was great, food amazing, & they went out of there...

Re: Real Brides: Port Douglas Weddings

So had our weekend in PD for wedding planning. It was awesome! Sea Temple resort & spa was beautiful & we really enjoyed our tasting menu. The wedding planner was brilliant-so accomodating. And she upgraded our apartment for our stay-wow what a resort :D Natasha (Celebrant) was such a warm, ...

Re: Real Brides: Port Douglas Weddings

Yes we have Blush Hair & Beauty-she has a nice, natural look that I am after-just hope the hair style I am leaning towards isn't too complicated for her! We did have Rachael Gregory but she pulled out-FH suspects she got a wedding with more BM etc. We only have 2. Kristy seems lovely though &...

Re: Real Brides: Port Douglas Weddings

We are having a sit down 3 course, 3 choice menu at the restaurant-with cocktails & canapes served for the first hour while we are having photos taken. No cake-3 choices of dessert is enough! No favours for the guests-my friend was a wedding planner for 5 years & she said most people leave t...

Question about dress-dye top part from pink to ivory?

I Love my dress but have always felt a bit unsettled about the top netting of the dress being pink. I love the pink belt but have been second guessing the pink top of it since I bought it a month ago. My Mum & BM LOVE the pink top of it. I don't know. What do other people think? Should my dressm...

Re: Real Brides: Port Douglas Weddings

Hi everyone, I am joining the Port Douglas wedding brides to be! We knew we wanted a destination wedding as we wanted a small wedding with a holiday feel. We were leaning towards Thailand but decided it was too impractical for our guests (including my sister who will have a 9 week old baby when we g...

Colour scheme? Um...pink I suppose. We don't really have one. It's a small destination wedding, 35 people, in Port Douglas.

Re: How to say no gifts

Could we put that on our wedding website?

And...I secretly don't mind if we get gifts regardless although don't want ANYONE to feel we expect or want a gift. Seriously there presence is present enough but...who doesn't like gifts! (Well FH clearly  )
