Re: To go or not to go? Destination wedding

Ok. This ^^^ really bugs me. It's not like they are getting married down the road and one of the side effects of a destination wedding is that some people simply cannot afford to attend. It's not a question of lack of effort. Well said lawwa Your friend has decided to have a designation wedding and...

Re: Do we take it or leave it?

Here is the other question that sprang to my mind when reading this......do you want these particular rellies at YOUR wedding?
It's your wedding you should have the people you want there not people other people want.
Justly opinion sorry if I offend anyone :)

Re: Vows / Readings

Our celebrant sent us some examples and I also got some off the net. I then pulled bits that I liked out of multiple examples and put them together to make them mean something for me. My FH did the same. When I read the vows I have put together they give me goosebumps I can't wait to say them and I ...

Re: Surprise wedding

I wanted to do it the way I wanted rather than to please everyone else. I told all my friends thats was what I wante...

Re: Men's suits.

We bought FH's suit from a place called Stafford Direct which is at Harbourtown hear in SA. Not sure if there is one in Brisbane.
We got black slim fit suit plus white shirt plus tie and belt for $438. We need to have it altered a little bit but all up should be under $500.

Re: Having a bit of a dilemma....

We are having a surprise wedding but everyone thinks its an engagement party.

We have told our immediate families and anyone that OS (his family so they come). So if you can trust a couple of people not to spoil the surprise maybe tell them so they can give everyone else a gentle push.

Re: Surprise wedding

That's right to not have all the stress is great. And with not anyone really knowing there is no extra stress tree either. I do t have to worry about bridesmaids and hurting anyone feelings don't have to worry about decorations and seating plans its so much better and we get to enjoy our moment. Peo...

Re: Surprise wedding

Don't get me wrong all of our friends and family are important and I would love them all to be there but if anyone isn't its not going to ruin the best day of my life. I will have to explain to everyone how important this is to us and that we want everyone to be there so we are inviting about 60 peo...
