Re: 2014 Brides

Thanks KG :) Been a whirlwind this week and all the BIG stuff cemented. Going to step back now for a breather as just over a year to go. Love being on here though as it's nice to have other women to talk to who are going through the same :)

Re: wedding hair

It's early days for me at the moment so nothing set though looking at an updo with a bohemian twist. I'm going bohemian vintage if that makes sense :)
Waiting at this stage for my family to be here in Aug and Oct so I can get some input from them :)

Re: Weddings and Numerology

I don't know. We were going to have Sept 20 next year and honeymoon locally though as we live near a tourist hotspot and Sept 20 is the start of school hols, we decided to bring it forward. The weekend before though was the 13th and that was a no for me so we went a week forward to the 6th. The date...

Re: 2014 Brides

We have just got engaged again and are keeping our original date of September 20 2014.
I have just amazing friends as a lot have come forward after finding out offering help on different services as a wedding present.
Over a year and not stressed. Such a low key event. Just can't wait!!!

How soon should you apply for permit?

FH and I are looking at getting married at a hinterland lookout and to do that, we need a permit from the council. What I am not sure on is when should we do it? Know brides put deposits on cermony locations now so not sure with permits.
Any ideas please?

Re: Any foundation recommendations?

Revlon Colourstay Foundation for combination/oily skin is my hands down can't live without makeup item. Just the original one in the glass bottle (there are a few variations these days,). I wear it everyday, go to the gym after work and it's still on! It's about $37 but I will stock up when special...

Re: Any foundation recommendations?

For a budget option - I have used Australis in the past with good results. I also prefer Napoleon but sometimes when its gone the $10.00 tube of Australis is fine if I have spent too much that week! Thank you will look at Australis too when I am needing foundation and need a budget option :) Just t...

Re: Kids or No Kids?

FH and I are opting no kids except my cousin who will be 16. I think it's more a cost thing and yeah. Something we want. Nothing against our friend's children :-)

Re: Thinking of your Guests

Oh wow that is super rude! Being so presumptuous in regards to an over abundance of gifts but then spend barely any time with the guests after getting them to wait 6 hours with not even a canape? FH and I are forming our wedding to definitely spend time with everyone. That wedding was rude.

Re: anyone used shakes?

I know that you're looking at using it short term but for anyone looking at long term, I found out some months ago from a nutritionist to be careful. Too much protein consumed daily can lead to kidney failure due to the kidneys not being able to keep up with the processing of the extensive protein. ...
