caterers in Far North QLD

I have received quotes from several caterers in Port Douglas. One that looked good was Coral Coast catering...has any one used them? Would you recommend??

Re: not having dad give you away

there are many reasons for not having your dad give you away; you don't want to feel like a goat, you think its sexist etc...maybe just walk down with your FH, arm in arm. He'll be looking like a fox so he should be adored too!

How do you ask some one to be a bridesmaid?

Ok so I never had many female friends, but I went to uni with some great girls and I have become friends with one of my FH's female friends. I am really nervous though about asking them to be bridesmaids. I feel like I'm asking the most popular girl in school to the formal. Did any one else experien...

Re: Are venues allowed to charge more for a wedding?

they can, but i would try to negotiate. It is not inappropriate to ask why you are bing charged the extra fee, they are probably just trying it because they know that 90% of brides will pay (can't blame them for trying). Probably a good idea to tell them that you have received other quotes, and that...

Re: Cocktail Reception

I think you are making the right decision not having cocktails. Free drinks which are very strong in alcohol content and taste like lolly water = very drunk guests. Beer and wine is a better option in my opinion. If you wanted to serve any cocktails, I wouldn't have more than 1 per guest as it is co...

Buffet or Plated

I have booked my reception in beautiful North Queensland in an outdoor location. I would like a BBQ buffet, but I am wondering if it will seem cheap, and if a plated menu would be better. The reason I was going to go for a buffet was because I wanted a relaxed, summer atmosphere and I thought it wou...
