Everything is sorted with us so we are mainly focusing on getting things organised for our boys while we are on our honeymoon. The best news for us has been that I did the fina...

We have decided not to have cars. Our ceremony and reception are at the same venue and we're not going anywhere else to have photos. We are also going to be getting ready at the venue so I wont be "arriving" as such. We just can't justify spending the money on cars. Even if we did have di...

hi there, we too weren't going to do the bonboneirre thing but decided to have something small. FH didn't want chocs as every wedding we went to last year (5 in total) had them, so he wanted something different. We are getting personalised beer ($2.29/bottle) and personalised bottled water ($0.99/bo...

hi, we are having a garden wedding too and we have compiled a CD with slow-ish love songs then another for after the ceremony when registry is siged, pics taken etc that are a bit more up-beat romantic songs. This way we are getting all the songs we want into the ceremony. We are then compiling a CD...

Hi, have you considered going somewhere else instead of changing your wedding? If you have your heart set on Gold Coast why not go a little bit away..say to the GC Hinterland (Springbrook) or even the Sunshine Coast say Montville or similar. You can then take a day trip to the GC and enjoy the sits ...

we aren't having a rehersal. Its a small ceremony with only one attendant on each side so we don't see the point. Plus the night before the wedding we are all going to see Keith Urban and wont have time even if we wanted one (which we don't).
Cheers!

we aren't having one...we were given the choice by the celebrant but seeing as its such a simple ceremony and only one attendant on each side we don't see the point.
Cheers!

hi, we too are having a garden wedding and it is unformal. My FH and his one groomsman are wearing dark blue moleskins and white RM Williams Oxford shirts (long sleeved). This suits our lifestyle and both the pants and shirts can be worn for many different occassions after the wedding. Both will loo...

I will be 5 months pg at our wedding in May and except for having to go and buying another dress nothing else had changed because of the pg. This is my 3rd child so I've been showing for a few weeks now and will obviously be pg on the day but all our friends knew the wedding was planned a long time ...

Accepting Money from FH's parents

hi girls, I'm having a bit of a dilemma. Fh's parents have told him they will be giving us $1000 as a present to use towards the wedding. However, I feel really uncomfortable accepting money from them, as IMO if we can't afford to pay for our wedding ourselves we shouldnt be getting married. For tho...
