Re: Walking Down The Aisle Song...

I'm so sad to say that after all the planning, and worrying, nobody even noticed the song I walked down to. Maybe it wasn't loud enough? That's a shame! I think that's part of the reason I decided on the song I'm going to walk down the aisle to (Acoustic version of God Blessed the Broken ...

Flower Market Victoria

Hey ladies, I've seen many people talk about doing their own fresh flowers from flower markets etc but I can't seem to figure out if there is somewhere in Melbourne I could go if I did want to do that. Our wedding is in the Yarra Valley and I'd just like to look into doing flowers myself before I co...

Re: so do u think this is rude?

I agree with Autumn and Kachward, I think invites sent directly to people even via email for the ceremony would be better. Honestly if someone at my work left a general invite on the table I wouldn't go purely because I wouldn't be sure if they wanted me there. Whereas if I got something specificall...

Re: Cards and Pockets 20% Off!!

Speaking of cards and pockets, is there anyone looking to order who needs any colour samples? I have 5 of their original samples (Rose, Cranberry, Antique Gold, Gold Leaf and Champagne) - happy to post them in Australia free if you think you'd like to have a look at these colours - just PM me your ...

Re: new signatures

I have an incredibly messy style signature that I like as I can sign it without even thinking, nice and fast! It occured to me the other day that since the only letter that you can read in it is my first initial and I might just keep it when I change my surname as noone will know any different!

Re: When did you know FH/DH was the 'one'?

FH and I started chatting on the internet whilst he was overseas and continued to for about 3 months before he got home. We said I love you within a week once he got home but I think that had a lot to do with the fact that we'd developed feelings beforehand but were waiting to see what happened in r...

Gorgeous dress Kaitos, you look fabulous! Cute little poem Amanda, I'm sure you'll get lots of awesome photos! OMG Bek, that sounds terrible. Watching something traumatic happen to someone is an awful thing to go through. I still remember watching a car rollover on the freeway, FH and I stopped to h...

Re: Etiquette for opening gifts

We opened ours after the party but we had a bit of backlash from some of the oldies who thought it was rude as 'in their day they would have opened them in front of people'. But each to their own, I just refused to open them until later.

Re: HELP?! Need BM's dresses in 5 weeks.

Heaps of women's clothing stores have lots of gorgeous dresses in. And generally they should be able to get different sizes in from different stores if you need them to. I work at Brown Sugar and we had a bride come in this week wanting a dress for bridesmaids dresses so I've ordered them the right ...

Re: Children in my ceremony - what should they do?

My FG's aren't as young as yours (they'll be 5, 5, 7, 10 & 10) so they will all understand where to go if we tell them right before they walk but since there's 5 of them (I couldn't choose between them!) I don't want them all standing so they all will be walking down the aisle and sitting with t...

Re: Divorced families - Who walked you down the aisle?

I'm going to have my dad on one side and my grandfather on the other. My parents divorced when I was 4 and my Pop was like a second father figure so it just seems right to me to have them both walk me down the aisle. I'm very close to my mum though and would never think of 'leaving her out' so inste...
