Re: DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO

You poor thing. Good thing you still have 18 months before your wedding to get it all sorted properly. I really think an honest discussion is needed with her to work out where you are both coming from. Has she got something else going on in her life that is making her be distant? Re: Gifts for Parents

First I just want to say Nwyfire, you seem like such a confident, capable person, who is sure of who you are. I hope your mum gets to see that and appreciate it. Let me say this is my situation and in no way reflects on any body else's. We are not giving gifts. We are paying for the entire wedding o...

Have you thought about a photography registry so that you can get some of your wedding photos enlarged or perhaps extra pages in your album. Just as another suggestion of something that you don't have and will possibly want.

That is a fantastic idea!

I wear glasses most days(due to laziness), contacts occasionally, but prefer the way I look without glasses so will wear contacts on my wedding day.

Re: Wedding Dress - Help!!

Personally I love the first dress more.
But it's YOUR dress, and your once in a lifetime moment so do what is right for you.
I do agree though that a copy of the designer dress may not be as nice as the original.
I really hope it all works out for you :e_hug:

Re: Hair and Make up trials.. for bridesmaids?

I wouldn't in my situation, I am in a different state to all my bridesmaids, and I too couldn't justify the cost. I couldn't ask my bm's to pay for a trial as well as their hair and make up for the day.

Re: Bridal Party Gifts

I  that clutch! We are buying the dresses and shoes for the bridesmaids and the groomsmens' outfits and shoes. Hair and makeup the bridesmaids are paying for themselves. I will probably buy their jewellery and hairpieces but it will just be diva stuff or similar. I also got them some personal...
