Ebay shopping

Tue Jun 30, 2009 1:01 pm

I am thinking of selling wedding items on ebay. I have found it the most helpful tool in planning my wedding and am thinking it would be a good way to make some extra cash. I am looking for ideas, I think I will start off with little things.
I am interested to know how many people have bought items for their wedding off ebay, what you bought and how much you paid for it?

I got my veil from ebay brand new, And looking at getting cake bags maybe flowers and wedding bubbles and small items like that, looked at pewter goblets and cake servers as well.

I've bought:

garters (hand made)
cake topper
cufflinks for FH and dad
GM present (hip flask and two shot cups, army knife and funnel)
My clutch

All up probably $120.

I will probably buy cake bags from there, and maybe tulle circles if we decide to have favours.

What are you selling??

So far I have bought-

Pearl stud earrings ($17.95), my dress ($120), shoes ($19.95), fascinator ($17.95) and 4 pairs of black pearl studs for my bms ($35.95). They are in my show and tell. All the prices included postage

I still need to buy- silk wrap or fake fur shrug in ivory, page boy outfit for my son who will be 2, an ivory tie for FH, and an ivory clutch. Let me know if you are selling any of these things!

Not wedding related, but one thing I have noticed always sells well on ebay is kids clothes, esp well known brands. I have thought about going to outlets and sales etc, buying thjem cheap and selling them on ebay

Is it better to try a cheap site like Duosheng or ZL rather than ebay (thinking of BM's and FG) at least you can get things that match....

ZL sells on ebay as well as through their online store. Check out the threads about those dressmakers for help.
