How much did you pay for your veil?

Wed Jan 27, 2010 12:49 pm

I know there are plenty of veil threads, but I'm after specific costs! It turns out my bargain veil does not match my dress, and after the ebay seller assuring me I could swap, she now won't contact me

When I trying on my dress the other day, I put an ivory one on, perfect match and the softest tulle ever - but I'm thinking it's going to be $200! I am being a bit specific about what I want and don't want to make one myself. If I'm going to spend $100 or so on one I may as well get it made here, rather than ebay and have the same problem!

Soooooooo...how much is your veil?

Thanks!

I managed to get my single tier cathedral length veil for free :D But otherwise it would have been $149.

Mine was made by the lady who runs the shop where I bought my dress. It was single tier cathedral length and cost $180. I have no doubt I could have got it cheaper but I couldn't be bothered looking around!

8O I thought I got mine cheap for $200 (it was $275).
My best friend has paid $450 for hers and another close friend paid close to $600
(thats why I thought mine was so cheap)

Mine was free with my dress (although I'm sure I still paid for it). Cathedral length silk tulle with just a raw edge. Here's a pic:

Just thought I'd say that the soft & light ones your talking about are probably silk tulle which is much more expensive than regular tulles, hence the variation in price. Obviously there are other reasons they could vary but that is one.
