Something new: my jewellery
Something borrowed: also nan's rings, I am borrowing them off my mum since she wears them every day, they will be tied onto my flowers as they are gold but my jewellery is white gold
Something blue: my garter, don't know how much of it is blue tho because my MOH has bought it and is surprising me on the day ")

I've crossed a few of mine..

Old & borrowed: a item of jewellery that belonged to my Grandpa before he passed away so I can have him there with me
New & Blue: A hair pin

I have a few things that can fit into the "new" category, but I figured it's easier to tell them to people like that!

I'm not having one unless I'm given one by a family member, which I doubt will happen.

I thought the horseshoes are given to you by family and friends as you walk BACK down the aisle? or maybe I'm confused?!

This is what I'm thinking so far, but would like some help with ideas for the 'borrowed'

Old: my FH made me a steel ring (he's a fitter and turner) when he proposed, as he knew I'd want to choose the actual ring, so I'm going wear that (or attach it to something).

New: my wedding dress

Blue: I bought one of these engraved bouquet charms off Etsy http://www.etsy.com/listing/61795916/so ... blue-charm

Borrowed: Help please!!!! :D :D

I'd like to follow this tradition but i'm not sure with what yet. For the something old i will wear a brooch that my Uncle whom passed on before i was born made for my Grandmother. When she passed away it went to me so there is a lot of sentimental value with that but haven't made it to the other three yet. :)

I have no family history either as my mother is an orphan and my father AWOL. I'm very close with my stepfather but not his family so I don't really want to carry something of theirs. What about something of you FH's family?
FH isn't close to his family, so I went to my local vinnies and found this old pearl and crystal necklace, my mum has taken off the beads and is attaching them to my veil as my "something old". Not traditional but interesting, I think.

My new is my dress, veil, jewelery, shoes etc.

My borrowed is my mum's garter - it's blue but I want separate things for each.

My blue - I'm a bit stuck on this but saw these and loved them

Does anyone know where to get them? I'm not a very good finder of things on ebay :D

I followed tradition as well.

I had:

Something Old: My perfume - it was the very first scent DH ever bought for me 6 years ago. I also had old piccies of my grandparents in memory charms.
Something New: My earrings my parents gave me for the day & my dress
Something Borrowed: I didn't have anything so at the last minute my MOH said 'Here, I'm LENDING you this kleenex. I want it back'. lol
Something Blue: My bracelet, garter & flowers
