where we are planning on getting married has a small step. would it look weird if FH was standing on that and me on the lower part.

if i was already taller than FH i wouldn't wear heels - but i have a thing about being needing to be shorter than him.

I can wear 10cms heels and be just shorter/about equal to him (although my hair might make me taller depending on the boofiness). I wasn't going to wear heels this high, but i probably will to give me a longer leg and make my dress look better...

I think standing on different steps would look a bit strange - if you don't care, just embrace the difference!

If you are really worried you could see if your husband would be interested in some height http://www.taller.com.au/
The shoes look really good and if you order some then dont think they are right they will give a refund.

OMG! I cant believe someone else is having the same problem as me!!! I know that I am not the only one who is taller than their partners in heels but I hadn't seen any comments prior to this post!

I am just slightly shorter than my DF in flats and I hate being taller than him in heels. I have gotten used to it after being together for nearly 5 years but especially for our wedding day and I just cant wear flats... IYKWIM. I just think a beautiful pair of heels make an outfit and really make me feel so much better about myself, not to mention better posture...

Anyway, I have been thinking in depth about purchasing some man heels from http://www.taller.com.au for DF but the store is in Melbourne, which would mean going down there. I know you can purchase over the phone/ net but I feel a little cautious since I dont know if they would be extremely high etc.

DF doesnt care if he wears them or not... I am so blessed to have a man that would do anything to please me...

So I am still unsure and have no clue what to do...

We are exactly the same height, so with any heel I will be taller than him. As Mrsko said, I'm sure I'll be tempted to stoop down in photos if I was wearing heels. I'm definitely going to wear flats.
