It looks good! If you wanted something a litte more, maybe wind some beaded wire around the frond stems to hold them together before sticking them in the vase. I've seen the beaded wire stuff but I don't know if you can buy it or if people do it themselves?

I have seen this done on another forum for a ladys wedding in Hawaii..

It looked amazing!

She had exactly the same thing you posted but instead of the lanterns, she hired/or bought LED platforms that the vases sat on and it looked a million dollars!!

I think it looks great and definitely fits a beach wedding! Maybe get some beaded wire like someone suggested and do a mock one up with and without some extra beads, maybe even some tags (small ones with single words on them , love etc) or cheap beads/pendants on the end of the palm leaves.

Good luck and don't listen to the the lady at playgroup, WC is much better at giving advice :D

I agree. It looks very classy, and it's different to the usual bunch of frangipangi's!

I think they look ok - however - consider the people sitting across from each other? Will they be able to see through?? and how big are the palm fronds - will they stick out too far?

You could always use a fish bowl with sand, a big candle in the middle, some tea lights around the base and some beautiful sea shells / star fish etc...

.... or maybe a tall vase with some marbles in the base - and a live gold fish? something a bit different!
