I'd like to invite to the wedding two sisters who share a house. Was wondering if I should send two separate invitations or just the one?
Thanks!

If it were me, I would send one invitation :) Assuming it is just them and not a partner each as well.. ?

Assuming they are adults, they should each recieve their own invitation. This is the 'correct' etiquette but invitations can be expensive, so I can see why people would combine them.

I'd send an invitation to each sister...just like you'd send a separate invite to anyone
over 18 living with their parents if they're all invited

Correct etiquette would be to send each sister an individual invitation, regardless of whether they have a partner or not. If you are planning on inviting each of them AND a partner for each, then they should definitely be receiving individual invitations.

According to the proper etiquette, the only time it's appropriate to include other people on an invitation within the same household (if they are not a couple) is if the guest is a child. BUT... if you want to save on an invitation, and you don't think they would mind, then just use one. If it were me, I'd send them both an individual invitation, but I am a real stickler for etiquette.

Depends if you are inviting partners aswell!
I would send two seperate invites as DH always told me it is not very polite to not invite partners!

I get that the correct way to do it is separately, but if I lived with my sister and we received two separate invites, I'd think it was odd, personally.
I have a few siblings I'm inviting who I know live together so they're getting one invite, because I know if I sent two, one would just end up in the bin anyways.

Do it separately!!

My brother and sister share a house and I sent them one invite with both their names..... BIG MISTAKE... my sister (not that she has told me) is really offended and kinda p!ssed that I didn't send her one on her own.

Guess I'm lucky she loves me and will get over it... eventually
