Fri Jul 06, 2012 12:51 pm

Hi Melbourne brides!

Where is good to go for wedding invitations? I've had a look online at some shops and it seems sooo expensive!!!

For paper we went to Predigree Paper in Preston. They have a HUGE selection of paper for invites, places cards etc and have the matching envelopes. I found online also very expensive. Good luck xxx

Another option is to try Eckersleys, they have a large range of invitation papers and are moderately priced....
Also love the store Rock paper scissors in Armadale... I'm from sydney but travel a lot for work and have stopped in there a few times.

Check out inviting invitations - excellent quality and really work with you so you get exactly what you want. We paid $9 per invite for a pocketfold with rsvp, accommodation, wishing well and map cards inside, personalized names inside and personalized envelopes on beautiful shimmery card.

It depends if you want to make them yourself or not. I went to Fine Finish Invitations in Flemington, and they were so helpful when talking about my DIY invites. They specialise in hardcover invitations in terms of what they make themselves, but they're incredible.
I'm spending about $191 on around 50 DIY invites (not including envelopes)- you can see my mockups on my S&T.

Hope that helps :)
