We are having a small wedding. There will be around 20ppl. I have been in Perth only a year and dont really know many places. We have cheked out a few places but as soon as we tell them that we will have 20 ppl we get shown a room which is the size of our dining room at home and some have been even smaller, no dance floor and the prices are a joke compared to what my friends weddings have cost per person in Sydney.

We are not after anything massive or anyting super posh, just a nice tidy place with a nice interior. Would be awsome if any one knew a small vinery with a garden and a restourant.

Any sugestions??

Thanks in advance

thought i should update. Found a place in center of perth. Lamont’s Bishops House, its right in the CBD of Perth. Its a very clean and tidy place, all the walls and windows/mirrors are clean of smudges, floor boards are nicely polished. We booked their private room upstairs, it even has a fire place and they do not charge room rental fees and their prices on food/drinks packages are really good compared to places that we visited and AGAIN their room is really clean and tidy. I will update later on how the food was when we go there to choose our food for the wedding

I was shoked at what i saw when i visited places like INDIANA, MOSMAN and Cottesle hotel. Some were really filthy. All the windows and mirrors have smudges of finger prints on them that have been there for years and no one bothered to wipe it off, the ceiling fans had a thik 2cm layer of dust on them, the walls had black rubbery looking smudges on them, carpets had stains on them, floore boards are years overdue for a polish up and outside area of those places was untidy, garbage that was there for weeks, trees are unkept and have dead branches and palm trees have dead branches ready to fall off anytime and no body cleans this stuff up. For prices that we were quoted for a small wedding at those places is just rude and redicules, i am from europe and for such money you can have a wedding like a king in europe with really high standards. If any body who works in Indiana, Mosmans and Cotteslo hotel reads this plz tell your management to lift your game up!!! It is rude to charge such high prices for such low quality service that you offer. No way on earth i would want to celebrate my once in a life time day at such places.

It is good to be prepared and come along with a list of queries before visiting your shortlisted venue. Prepare a checklist and mark them as you go through the list.
