bomboniere - good or bad idea?

Mon Sep 03, 2012 12:35 pm

My wedding is in January so I thought chocolate was probably not the best idea!

Am thinking of getting fortune cookies (not customised ones, just generic - don't want to spend too much).

What do you think? Are fortune cookies a good idea? We will probably give each guest 2 fortune cookies and put them inside a white organza bag tied with a white ribbon.

I agree with putting the fortune cookie in a box instead of organza bag. Not so much for hygiene reasons (i think commercially produced fortune cookies come in its own plastic bag anyway) but more so it doesn't get accidentally crushed.

Thats such a cute idea!!! People will definately love it! I also toyed with a similiar idea, but I caved into a bottle of wine for each couple, as suggested by my FH...

Fortune cookies are great! All the messages are positive inside right?
