Thu Feb 21, 2013 8:22 pm

do you just choose your colour shoes and jelwerry etc and hope they match? or do you go into each shop with the dress and try them on with the dress on too??
how do you make it all come together?

For the bride, BM or both?

Usually the brides shoes aren't seen or only seen a little anyway, so you can pick anything you want!

Take a dress pic with you if you aren't sure of style.

My dress was late 40s influenced and I had a very clear idea of the overall look I wanted, so I found pieces that fit that vision.

I bought the shoes first - i'm a shoe kinda girl lol. When I found THE dress, I took the shoes with me to try it on and they went perfectly. Maybe you could take a pic of the dress with you or try your dress on with different types of shoes you have at home i.e. a pair of flats, strappy heals, peep toes, and just see which type go and then look for them in a bridal shoe. As for accessories, I took a couple of different types of necklaces in with me to try the dress on and decided the type I wanted (drop pendant) and bought that in a bridal style. Hope that helps
