Re: May 2010 - Part 2

Was think about a title all night... came up with nothing

I like the sound of this airstocking idea. I am thinking about getting a spray tan a week prior to teh wedding... but i'm not sure, never had one before  and I have funny skin (as in I rash up easily so I have to be careful what I use) so I'm thinking I might need to do a trial first in the next few months.

I want a singlet too! Hey you think they will give us a discount if we all get one

I got 3 sets of waffle bathrobes with matching slippers off ebay a few weeks back. Am going to get them all embroidered with our names, one for me, one for MOH and one for my bestie/photographer. I was surprised, they were $16 for a set and are very good quality. I think I stole the link from someones S&T.

Hurrah for mobile hair ladies

My MUA did the airstocking thing. It was a Japanese brand spray, and it's like airbrushed makeup but for the other areas and out of a can. It's costing I think another $15 on top of my makeup (already expensive so I just decided what the hell!) and It looked really good - really natural and you could only tell the difference when you compared the bits not sprayed.

Gah, just finished one very long overnight shift, have another one tonite, and then a few days off and another one again on sunday nite...blech.

I'm hoping we'll get some RSVPs today - like real, in the mail RSVPs, but if not it's not the end of the world, so long as they RSVP somehow!

Let's hope you didn't spell any words incorrectly in your app Des. lol.

I think it's amusing how many people are stressing out about their weddings with over a year to go....
I think wedding planning constantly for so long has put it into perspective. Time really doesn't go as fast as everyone says it does when you're on WC or looking at something wedding related EVERY DAY. I think it goes fast for people who aren't organised or have something else in their lives.

12 months is a damn long time.

THose people bug me! I started out with 12 months to go and easily could have done everything to date in a month if i had to! What is there to stress about at 12 months?

There was someone on another site, 18 months to go (all of 19 years old) who posted her 'song choices'. All song choices were current hits from the last 4 weeks! I wanted to write something on her thread but i stopped myself!

I even feel silly organising the reception running order now when we're still 7 weeks out!

I'm the same - with even less time! I have finished our ceremony stuff but still haven't sent it to the celebrate because it's "too early" haha. Even now time isn't really going that fast. Maybe it's because my job is fairly low key and not busy, that I have majority of the day to sit around on WC.

I know we still havent booked suits or honeymoon and its 7 weeks away! And then we come across people who have 18months to go who have place cards and OOS

I'm with Bergette on this one we could have done everything in a week if we had wanted too, but it was more fun to space it out.

^^ I totally agree. I was only just having this discussion with a friend yesterday who got married about 6 months ago - she was like, yep I could have planned it at much more short notice (she also had about a year), but she had changed her plans and her ideas developed, so she probably wouldn't have ended up with such a great wedding if she'd planned it earlier IYKWIM.

I could have done it all in about a month I reckon (aside from the dress - that took some time).
