We did it

M2M I'm glad that you have some answers with the PCOS, quite a few girls on here have this and may be able to provide some tips and offer advice. Its a shame about the shoes :(

Especially considering they did such a good job of the dresses. Well when I bought my AP shoes, there was a really tiny dot on one of them on the silk/satin and silly me, licked my finger and tried to wipe it off and now it has a dirty little mark  Its not really noticeable and I suppose they will get really dirty in a garden ceremony but if anyone knows any secrets on how to get it out, let me know. Also has anyone else got an online registry? We get email alerts when someone has bought us a gift or put money on our honeymoon registry and left a message and I cant stop looking...

Yipppeeee Part 3!

M2M, many many :e_hug: at least now you and your doctor can discuss a plan of action prior to you TTC. Sorry to hear Big D messed up your shoes (off to have a look at your S&T in a moment) I'm starting to worry about my (new) dress, she keeps asking me to confirm my measurments, which I have checked and checked and checked. So I'm slightly stressing now.

Bergette, Love the ties!

Myer really does have cr@p customer service. We are just doing the good old, wishing well.

Yay for Part 3! :bdance:

We're meeting our new DJ next week, hopefully we made the right choice based on recommendation. Also trying to catch up with our party hire/decorator so we can finalise things.

Oh and I'm having another makeup trial this Saturday which includes a free skin care pamper session. Yippeee...

Thanks Bergette - I know it's quite personal, but really I am just trying to understand how people do it and manage to raise a baby?! I mean we get paid well, but we're certainly not rich and borrowing money for the wedding definitely didn't help...but seriously, how do people manage?

It's being senseable with your money, espically if you know you are TTC then you start to think ahead as early as you can. Making extra payments on things so that you can have a comfortable mat leave without the stress. We are still renting, but I sacrificed some of my own spending before bubba was born and made sure our rent was months in advance. I also made sure my car payment was a few payments ahead ect ect. and what was left to pay my baby bonus covered, so we were fine for 6 months living off just FH's wage.

Don't get me wrong... babies are mighty mighty expensive, even if you do cloth nappies and breast feed (neither I did... lazy can't you tell?) they grow so quick you are forever going out buying singlets, dummies, toys... not to mention the emergency trips to the chemist for antibiotics, humidifiers, panadol, teething gel.

Ok... I will get down off my soap box now

^^ that's very true...which while i would love to buy a house (if the bank would let us  ) I'm also happy to rent until we CAN afford to pay for a house and small child.

Ugh its too much to think about.

I just want it all now

Happy St Pats day too girls... I am waring a green skirt to work today... hoping there might be a few beers go round this afternoon, but everyone here is so busy i don't think it will happen.

Have to go to the bank later (bloody petty cash) so might stop and get some coffee for everyone as a perk-me-up for the rest of the afternoon.

currently eating a turkey and salad roll that I made myself  so far day 2 of brinigng my own lunch to work and I'm rather enjoying it.
