We saw Captain America the other night and I was actually a bit disappointed. Chris Evans is good eye-candy though.

As for my plans this weekend, I am picking up an order of 140 ribbon bows for my bonbonieres from Parklea Markets. Decided to get someone to make bows for me. Got sick of making them myself. Too fiddly and time-consuming.

Going out for FH's birthday on Saturday night. Watching Bridesmaids with my sister on Sunday. Nice!

Some wedding-related news: I just ordered 100 stainless steel cufflinks for the men's bonbonieres. Now, we're nearly set! Ladies are having earring made from capiz shell and guys are having cufflinks.

WOW page 91 already, thats scary lol

Well this weekend is mainly working but I have hockey again this afternoon after two weeks off, should be interesting. Also we should be finally organising the dresses for the BM's and discussing hens night ideas, should be fun. I need to work out when to have it so I can apply fortime off work.

Ohh a Mac sounds awsome.

MarBonky, that sounds like an awsome weekend. And congrats on ordering the cufflinks :)

OK help - how long before the wedding are you sending invites out? I thought it was 2-3 months, and FMIL informed me I was an idiot and it was six weeks. My venue wants numbers at 3-4 weeks so I don't know how giving people and 2 week RSVP deadline will go (I assume badly).

I thought I'd send them at 3 months, and give people 6 weeks to RSVP so I had two weeks to chase up?

Yes we are planning on sending 3 months out.

RSVP to be 1 month before.

Venue needs numbers at 14 days so that gives me 2 weeks to chase up the tardy ones.

Yep, we're planning on sending the invites out in Nov for Feb wedding. We were looking at about 2 months, but I wanted a bit of extra time before Christmas - 2 months would have been 18th Dec, I didn't want them going out that close to Christmas.

we are sending ours out late August as our honeymoon registry closes at the end of October, also so that people have plenty of notice, coz we realised the tour down under starts in Adelaide the day after our wedding so it may be a busy period. However as everyone else has said about 3 months before is the norm :)

Im hanging out for engagement party pics Mel!

So is it sad that I have moved my dogs bed into my bedroom while FH is away for a month? He usually sleeps in the loungeroom but its nicer to hear him sleeping when im alone...is that sad? (yes, he sometimes snores, but so does FH! :D )
