Great news everyone, my dress is ready to try on - going to try it on tomorrow :)

Ready to go???? 8O I thought the material had only just arrived in the country? Well, anyway ... I am VERY relieved for you. I have to admit, I havent commented on your posts cos I was worried for you and didnt want to stress you further. So, yay! :bdance: :bdance: :bdance: (Hehe, I love those bananas)

Thanks luv, just shows you how quickly they can actually whip a dress up. It does need a few alterations, and the zip has an issue (they had to cut me out of it). Need to go for another fitting Sat, doesn't leave much time though.

Pick up the place cards tonight and plan to work out seating Friday night. Only 12 more sleeps :)

Well, I've lost my bridesmaid (and by 'lost' I mean she p!ssed off and I'm happy about it) so now I have to contact all my vendors, redistrubute what was going to be her bouquet, tell hairdresser and MUA, find new homes for all the stuff I bought and made for her (jewellery etc). Oh and sell her dress.

But yay!

Oh my!!! There have been plenty of times I've thought it was a good move not having a Bridal Party. Haven't regretted it once :)

It was my intention too, Miss Margaret. Just me and my sister. But, in a roundabout way, this friend of mine asked to be a bridesmaid, as she'd never been one before. I told her I'd have a think about it. No harm, right? WRONG! She was nothing but trouble every step of the way.

Kwitty at least you have a few days to do it, rather then her pulling out at the last minute.

just think how much less stress you will have now in the lead up to the wedding now that you dont have to deal with her.

Hope you find the right one!

I'm really freaking out now! Three weeks to go and sooooo much still to do. I haven't even had time to sort out an outfit for my hen's this Saturday and I can just see myself buying something Saturday morning!

Went and saw our celebrant Sunday morning and the ceremonies sorted out and he seems fantastic and so organised so I'm confident that side of things is completely under control. We have a jam packed week and only two nights at home, so finishing the place cards is booked in for one of those nights and organising our music for the other.

Figured out which beauty salon I made the appointment at... Phew!

Organising payments today (hence all this time on the web). FH and I are both pharmacists and so when I asked our entertainer/musician his preference for payment this was his reply (and I quote from his email):

"For payment cash would be best. ... (or perhaps a lifetime supply of viagra and memory enhancing pills to remember what it's for.)"

must be the week for place cards and menus! ours are almost done.

Waxing tomorrow...!

My dad (the poor petal) is trying to get my help with the speach, but dosnt want to tell me whats in it. He's so cute.

Our celebrant said today that our ceremony was the shortest he's ever done! he estimates 12 minutes! Might have to find some readings for a poor sucker to read out.

Weather zone predicts 50% chance rain/thunderstorm on my day... Not happy!

There is rain either side of the day at 70%chance, so it's best that the weather doesn't move around but it would be even better if there was no chance at all....I am so upset by it, I didn't think I would be, but now closer to the event...I can't help but get upset.

FH is away for a few days until Wednesday, so that doesn't help the planning and stress levels.

Only 5 days to go til we get married...I am excited but also sad that all this planning is coming to an end...

yeah the long range forcast still says less than 25% chance of rain on my day (same on yours kwitty) i know that it can and will change but i am taking it as a positive for the moment.

I am having issues with shoes, as the one i bought and love caused me to fall over during dance lessons so i am concerned about wearing them for the wedding, but as we have been running around trying to buy a house i have not had time to go looking for another pair.

I have this weekend to myself as FH is working saturday morning and then has his bucks night down the gold coast saturday night so i am having my hair trial on saturday morning and there will be no-one around to see it, and i was hoping to go out for dinner with FH but that is not going to happen.

So my plans for this weekend are menu's and table name lists, also clean the house as we have guests starting to arrive half way through next week and my house looks like a bomb has hit it. so while my FH is out on the town i will be at home cleaning the house. :? :?

Well the long range weather forecast is predicting high chance of rain the two days before but nothing on our wedding day. So things should be green and fresh :)

I found my hairdresser last night!! :tick: She was lovely and got what I wanted. AND we don't have to start too early, 8.30am! woo, sleep in! hehe

So, that was one of the things that was worrying me the most.

I'm now starting to get excited! Hens night this Sat then only two Sats til I'm a Mrs.

eek!

Hopefully this will change again tomorrow. It's Melbourne after all!

We finished our place cards last night, yay!!! Got my parents to pick up our bonbonniere lollies from Suga yesterday and the rose petals I ordered arrived at my mum's yesterday too. We're off over there tonight to finalise reception arrangements with my folks.

Have spent this afternoon making phone calls to confirm the videographer and photographer. Am a little worried though as I can't seem to get anyone from the Entertainment booking agency to get back to me to confirm our string trio for the reception and to give me their direct contact number. I really need to speak to them to discuss the music choices.

I'm feeling really overwhelmed at the moment (not helped by my crazy AF hormones which have my emotions all over the place!) but figure I've just got to keep going and get things ticked off the list.

soooo not long to go now!! im back home in victoria and crazily trying to get stuff done. my grandma had a horrible fall yesterday, dislocated her shoulder, cracked her head and is very bruised and not in a great way. in hospital for 2 weeks, but will hopefully (fingers crossed) get out for day leave on sat. extra stress for everyone, especially my poor mum!! just NOT what we needed right now. so, between spending time at the hospital im slowly getting things done. waxing and hair dying tomoro, tan on thurs arvo, girly night fri... getting ecited thinking about it all!! hope the rain holds off... take care everyone!! :D

im not sure if this weather is a preview of the month to come, or a happy sign that all the rain will be washed away by the 19th.... *siigh*

i know that rain means good luck and all, but I REALLY dont want it to rain. we've booked this amazing rooftop location for our pre-drinks, and without it, there really isnt much "bondi beach" about our wedding.. uugh.
