Ooooh very nice SpecialKK. I like the card that you have put them on. Very clever.

You are so lucky - we ordered our STD's three weeks ago and got slow postage - still no parcel yet :(

YAY ours arrived this afternoon!
I couldn't help but put a mock one up at my desk LOL
I am glad I had the string in the car

Sorry about the really crappy quality, I took the photo off my iphone
I really  them.
They turned out great (They are no where near as dark as the pic shows)
We have used the small magnets stuck onto a standard postcard also
The lace picture is from Martha Stewart Weddings

I will not be paying the extra for express next time though

I wish I had thought to do the STD on the post card thing... I ordered the business cards so will attach a magnet to the back but was wondering how to send them.

May have to put another order in?? :D

Im very happy with the quality, the look great!
Sorry for the picture quality, i didnt have time to stuff around with the camera settings. We ordered the small magnets for our save the dates, and then plain postcards to attach them to when we send them, like in the pic. The photo on the std magnet looks quite dark in this pic but in real life it isnt that dark, it is a pic of us earlier this year in Paris!

Oh and obviously the white smears are where ive covered our surnames..

Ooooh - I love that idea SpecialKK - may I ask how you are attaching the magnets to the postcards?

Missnicky previously mentioned "sticky dots" - are they temporary adhesive, at a guess?

Well done ladies - they are looking great! I'm yet to make mine up, but am loving being able to see the finished products! :D

Not specialkk I know, but I am attaching my magnets to my postcards using clear photo corners, I got the idea from another member here. Works great and looks good too. :)

Thanks for the compliments ladies- i cant take all the credit though because i got the idea from another WC'er! Like Dandelion, im going to use either clear photo corners or just double sided sticky dots to stick them to the postcards.

Missnicky- yours looks great! i love the idea of the string tieing it all together!

Have you found the sticky dots yet??? I am having trouble finding them :(
The string isn't holding them together, it's all for decoration purposes LOL

Yipee - I got a parcel card in our post box yesterday - so I am hoping it is our STD's!

What is a lawn sign - is that like a "for sale" sign?

I'm very excited as I finally ordered my Save The Date magnets, matching postcards and a free pen from Vistaprint last night! I designed the hearts and the colour combo myself - amazing how many HOURS you can spend designing love hearts!
I will post a photo once they come back. It's been great to see the others that have come in from Vistaprint - some great ideas too - thank you ladies! :)

These were the freebies but had to pay for delivery so it works out to be about $15 for each item. I will be framing these once we move into our new house.

1 small vinyl banner (90.2 x 50.8 cm)

2 small lawn signs (457mm x 305mm) (corrugated plastic, the matrix is a bit like cardboard)

Display on my bedside table

Hey Bonni - it was my stuff so now all our STD's are done are we have sent most of them out. I am really happy with the quality and just blown away by the cost effectiveness of it all. Was very very happy with the gloss finish.

Was going to DIY our own invitations, but now I think we may order from Vistaprint.
