bridalgown.net

Mon Apr 21, 2008 11:27 am

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone has purchased their gown from bridalgown.net. And if so whether they were happy with how things turned out. The prices etc are awesome - I'm just wondering if they're too good to be true!

Thanks!

Lots of girls on here have used Bridalgown.net. I ordered my gown from them about a month ago, so I still have a fairly long wait! Monsoon Princess ordered her gown off them too, and it got shipped last Friday, so she's due to receive it sometime this week, so hopefully she'll let us all know how it goes (she ordered the same dress as me, so I'm extra keen to know if it's ok!).

So far, for me, I'd recommend them. I had LOTS of questions before I ordered, and Julie was great with answering everything, so their customer service is great, now we just have to wait to see what the product is like - but apparently they are authentic gowns direct from the manufacturers - that's the feedback I've read from them (on these forums) anyway.

OMG don't get me started on how much I recommend them - Julie was amazing with contact from start to finish.

My authentic Maggie Sottero "Brittanya" arrived in pristine condition on 19th Nov 2007. About a 5 month wait, but sooooo worth it - I saved over $1000!!!

PM me if you like and I'll send you my communication with her from start to finish.

This is me in my dress:

:P Definately order through bridalgown.net. I just got my dress last week through them and it is perfect. Fits beautifully. Ony thing is its a little creased but i'll just get it pressed you can't epect that it woldn't be after being shipped from spain to the US then Australia. My Pronovias gown (daifa) took 5 months to get here which i was really happy with, i ordered the veil a month later so i'm still waiting for it. The dress only took 4 days to get here once they notified me it was in the US.
Julie is fantastic and you shouldn't have any problems.

See if you can find that dress in a store here first, and try it on. That's what I did, and once I was sure if was the perfect dress for me, I bought it online!

I too have done the bridalgown.net thing. Now just waiting (not so patiently) for the dress to come!

I second ThailandNic's suggestion of trying on here before you buy. The size dress that I am getting is not what I thought it would be.

I have tried the dress on in a store here (and I plan to do it again before I commit so I can double check). I'm also going to get my measurements done professionally so I can be extra sure when I check the size measurement chart. I think if I or they get it wrong there'll be plenty of tears!!

MonsoonPrincess you look stunning! Thanks so much for posting the photos.

I am so excited to order mine. I think I'll order next week - I'm trying it on here one more time first!

Thanks so much for letting me know that you had a good experience!

Hey everyone,

So I ordered the dress!! Feel a little bit nauseous every time I think about it - oh god I hope it's right!! Ahhh! Now I have to wait twenty weeks - maybe even twenty four because it's Pronovias - I think the wait is going to drive me mental!!

Thanks Mel, that's reassuring! I'll try not to stress too much - I guess anticipation is half the fun!
