Hi guys!

I'm thinking of doing it, Allure 8634. My wedding is March 9 2013. The only bad feedback I've seen is delivery times can stretch. I have 37 weeks till my wedding, reckon I'll get it in time?

My dress is $1037 USD. Wish I had ordered it when the aussie dollar was stronger then I could escape the customs and gst :S I'm expecting to pay about $300 in taxes does that sounds about right? Its still a heck of a lot cheaper than the $2500 quoted in store. BUT I AM VERY NERVOUS! ... but EXCITED! EEP!

Hi Biddy,

I think you should have plenty of time. Did you ask Julie for an ETA? Different brands have different lead times from what I understand. When I was asking about Jim Hjelm dress the ETA was October or November I think, and for the Essance of Austalia dress I ended up getting it was September. I'd suggest you jump on the site and talk to Julie - you can do a live chat. She should be able to tell you how long it should take. Then you will have to account for a couple of weeks to get to Aus then the time it will take to do the customs dec and all that rigmarole! Good luck!!

Howdy nickncarolyn1, I did do a chat with Julie and she said 4 and a half months for Allure. But I've noticed that delivery times seem to be the only thing people are a bit negative about so I wanted to ask you ladies to ease my crazy mind.
Thanks for advice :) this wedding stuff is scary business!

If it helps at all, I know that Julie put a rush order on mine (at no extra cost to me) because Essance pushed back their delivery date and she knew I needed it ASAP. :D

Hey Biddy,

If you order online with the price you have been given plus taxes you quoted you will only save yourself $528 - From that you still need to pay appox $70 to get the gown steamed so $458 SAVED -Does not seem much for all the stress?

#8634 can be purchase retail in Melbourne for $1865

Hi everyone,

I just had a quick question, does anyone know if the list of dresses bridalgown.net is the only dresses you can get? I love the look of a particular Allure Bridal dress and it doesn't seem to be on the bridalgown.net website.

Julie often gets in dresses by designers she stocks that aren't listed. Just email and ask.

It's Allure 2569. I'm just curious really, not looking to buy just yet but in the near future.

Thanks for the help

Hi everyone - joining this thread as I've also placed an order with Bridalgown. I've been dealing with Julie for a number of weeks and her response time is super quick. I ordered my dress on Friday and the lead time is 19 weeks so I'm hoping to have it by Christmas. I'm really excited and can't wait until it gets here :!:

Hehehe, it is just so painful waiting isn't it? I was going out of my mind waiting for my dress when it was later than she said it would be, even though I still had so long to go until my wedding.

Tell me about it Slinky. I'm so relieved I've ordered it, now all I need to do is lose enough weight so I look good in it

Hi all!

Received my dress recently from Bridgalgown.net! I highly recommend them but only if you're ordering far in advance! I ordered my dress on 11th February and received it on 16th August.

Julie is great at responding quickly to emails and keeping you updated on any hold ups.

I paid $1036 for the dress plus 10% customs tax of $103 plus GST of $124. So all up paid $1263 and in Raffaele Ciuca where I tried it on they sell it for $3000!!

All the best!
