Shortbread. It's a bit different to the usual lollies in noodle boxes!

What about a cookie bar? With lots of different biscuit favourites? Lolly bars don't have to look like a kids party if you stick to one colour scheme.

I totally agree with your decision! I made biscuits for my wedding and they went down a treat.

A tip is that depending on the recipe, you can bake in advance, freeze and defrost a day or two out.

Not strictly shortbread, but I used this recipe. Delicious!

I froze about a month out and defrosted on the Thursday night (just in the tupperware containers) and iced Friday night.
