Mon May 16, 2011 9:38 pm

Just wondering if tehre is anyway you can stop your exercise calories going into your allowance.
So where it says how many you have left, i dont want it to include the cals i have burnt, just what my cal intake is.

This might be a dumb question, but what is my fitness pal?

I don't input my exercise...only my food. I don't think calories burnt during exercise is accurate or
overly relevant, I just want to see how much I'm eating :)

Its a website that you input your food/calories as a way of tracking,

THanks Amber, I know how many i am burning as i wear a HRM. It just annoys me when they tell me to eat the cals i have burnt!

I have to say that I am a myfitnesspal convert myself :D Their tickers also update themselves automatically :D

I think they keep count of calories burnt to make sure that you are eating enough (1200 cals/day) to ensure your body has enough calories to maintain muscle mass? But if you don't want to use the exercise calorie tracker then don't enter the exercise as amberino said.

Sorry to hijack the thread, the other app/website that I like to use is runkeeper.com It tracks your run/walk/hike/cycles and gives you incentive emails about how you are going. I keep getting emails congratulating me on my farthest distance walked :D It's a lot more accurate than the pedometer on my ipod which is what it replaced. Just thought I would share it in case someone else finds it useful.
