Sorry if i've put this in the wrong place...
I'm hoping someone here or a DH/FH may be able to help us!

Last night our internet explorer just stopped working, it was fine when i had jumped on first thing in the morning, but when i got home last night it was KA-PUT.
Our mobile broadband is fine, full connection & coverage, but it is Internet Exporer that just goes blank when opened... no address appears in the address bar, and only 1 or 2 'green bars' appear at the bottom like it's loading a page, then after around 3 mins the whole IE page goes white. No error msg (like that one that sometimes appears when the server is down or something), nothing. I spent an hour on the phone to our ISP last night who talked me thru all these things to do to try & fix the problem that they were unsure of what the cause / reason was. I dont have firefox or anything like that either, so cant even get on the net that way. It's so frustrating!

Not sure if you have already done so but have you rebooted the modem?

Yep they reset it when i was on the phone

Try downloading Mozilla firefox http://www.mozilla.com Does this work as a internet browser?

What is your current set up at home? We use a router which is slowly dying, so that affects our internet connection?

Are you on wireless at all? If so turn off any bluetooth devices as these can sometimes affect the network as well.

Have you done a virus/malware/spyware scan?

Have you done a computer reboot?

my brother just came round & copied firefox from his laptop & put on here, so we are system-a-go - felt lost without the internet even for just 1 day, how tragic!!!

So downloading Firefox helped with everything? Thats my solution to most problems at work lol.
