They have the best warranty on the market, which is what sealed the deal. Three year replacement warranty, no stuffing around with sending it away to be repaired if something happens. It's broken, they bring us a new one. So far we've had absolutely no trouble with it.

On Saturday, we bought a Hisense 47" LED TV for $999 at The Good Guys. Only managed to bring it home on Sunday after three attempts with three different cars!!! And then 5 hours into watching it, there was a loud bang and POOF the whole TV blacked out and it won't turn on!!!

It's funny you say that, we only buy those sorts. Lol. We had a large old boxy Celestial (Panasonic workings), which thanks to open windows and unpredictable summer storms was flooded three times. Let the old thing dry out each time and it's still never missed a beat.
