Suzuki Swift

Fri Feb 04, 2011 12:26 pm

Hi Girls,

I was thinking about looking at a family car because we were planning to TTC in the next few months - now we have decided to put it off until late this year, early next year so im thinking to get a more affordable and zippy car.

Do any of you have a swift? What are they like and what safety features do they have?

Emy

i have one!! They are really good. Mine is a 2006 model and i have had no problems with it at all.

Mine has driver and passanger airbags.. and i think ???? side? Dont quote me on that

The dials for the radio are on the sterring wheel so you can use them and not take your eyes off the road!!

Petrol is good too. This morning i filled up for about $40?

Its easy to park, drives smoothly

Thanks for the reply Annie :D
What is the vision like? My car is a very very old late 80s station wagon so the vision in that is fantastic - this is something that worries me alot with all of these newer cars

I was looking at the swift but I didn't like the amount of boot room in it. I ended up getting at Barina Sedan, there is so much boot room and a fair bit of leg room in the back. Will fit a pram in for sure. Plus it had driver and passenger airbags as well as side airbags. It drives beautifully, and parks really well. It handles the highway well as well.

Just thought I would let you know, incase you were looking for something with a little bit more boot space
