Would you buy a house under high voltage power lines?

Hi guys,

The block we are looking at has a sub station box in the front yard and also high voltage power lines about 500 meters away.
Would you buy this block? Does anyone know of anyone who lives near these sorts of things? Do they have any health issues?

I wouldn't buy it. I saw a thing on TV once where a guy stuck the tube from a fluorescent light in the ground (with no power source) under those things and it lit up.

Wow thats scary! Like real scary! We rented near power lines for a year but I don't think I would buy near them.

It's not just the health issues you need to consider but also the fact that you may have trouble reselling it and the bank may not lend you all the money you need as properties like that aren't viewed too favourably by them
