My g/f is addicted to this show. It interesting to see some real feedback from people who have actually stared on it. It comes accross so catty but i was sure thats how the tv producers want it to be.

I am addicted too! Lol. It's a great show.

I agree it is obviously edited to look catty, it's all about ratings afterall.

i still think that alice could have saved more money $500 for makeup sounds pricey! How many bms were there? I only saw one girl with her face blurred. anyway well done for only spending that much!!!

Yep, you are correct. $200 for HER wedding dress. the bridesmaid dresses cost $600 (3 brides maids, $200 a pop). so $800 in total

The $500 was for her, her flower girl (the little toddler) and 3 bridesmaids (one of which was blurred).

Selgar, thanks for clearing that up, but I do think Yamile said it perfectly before. You don't need to justify yourself to different strangers on varying wedding forums, just relax and enjoy married life.

Hmm.....

While yes, it was your REAL wedding, we weren't there, we don't know you or your family and we were only watching it for entertainment value only. We all do our weddings our own way - now you are a member you can see the hall of fame where girls (and some guys?) share their wedding day photos. There are so many different things people do for weddings, we each have our opinions.

Of course your wedding was exactly what you wanted, it was your wedding.

I am SURE the show portrayed people in a certain way, because they are trying to create an entertaining show.. they play sound clips, show certain scenes etc to define their 'characters'.

Hi Ladies, It's Yvette here from episode 5 of four weddings Australia TV show. I just came across this blog and I wanted to extend a huge thank you to all of you who had nice things to say about my wedding. All the weddings were unique and reflective of each bride's personality, and even though it didn't look that way we all got along really well during the filming and I had a great time doing the show :D Also thank you for the nice comments about baby William who is due in January! Yes, he was planned long before we even knew about the show :D After almost 2 years of IVF we were finally blessed with a little miracle  and can't wait to become parents. Even though we didn't win the big prize on four weddings, we have been lucky enough to be a monthly finalist in Bride to be magazines, bride of the year competition. There are some great pictures of our wedding on there. If you have time please follow the link to cast your vote for us as there is a honeymoon up for grabs! You can vote every hour in the month of November! Thank you to all who take the time to do this and CONGRATULATIONS to all the bride's to be. Your days will be amazing! Yvette. xxx

I would have to agree, all the UK ones seem to be in castles or pubs and the dresses all look the same. Last week the on the US one there was a wedding on a huge tiki boat - loved it!
